I love abstract!! Going to have fun with this :D

Grace Horton

Absolutely adorable! So much fun and a great idea for Valentines rather than the standard cards. I’ll be making these for my family. Thank you for your time

Cher

Love this can’t wait to get started, thanks tons

Nora

This is really pretty! Beautifully simple and light and fresh!

Rosemarie Berry

Thank you! I love this look and will definitely be giving it a try. Your paintings are always so calming and joyous.

Sunanda Bose

I love it how you present everything - nothing seems impossible! What a great teacher you are Ellen!

Gail Winterfeld

Hubby was in my "studio" building some storage shelves for me while I was painting along with this video. He got the giggles over the "tippy taps" - what a fun day!

Jade

When you said you were going to mix colors with your #12 and then said I know you're not supposed to.....this may be dumb, but why aren't we supposed to? I usually mix with whatever I am going to paint with (Disclaimer: total novice here)

Leslie J Galloway

I have a mixing brush - it saves wear and tear on my expensive brushes.

Mary Serfass

Ellen just wondered ..have you decreased the number of videos you are doing in a week ? I thought I missed a few but I checked ked and don't see any

Ellen Crimi-Trent

use crappy brushes to mix paint with it takes a toll on them if the paint is dry and not right out of the tube- hope that helps.

Yay! I just finished the 2nd painting for a birthday card! It was so fun to paint. My sky turned out a bit bright to do the tree in blush so I went with yellow flowers and added in some green leaves. I also tried my new Princeton #8 for the tree. Love that pointy tip for the branches! Thank you Ellen!
