Hello!

So here it is. Another effortful video about something silly. I hope you like it.

This is early access, so lemme know what you think!

(FYI: proper subtitles are not ready yet, but they'll be there by the time of public release. Sorry for any inconvenience.)

Perfect timing for me to watch! 😁 Edit: Can’t believe you didn’t make some sort of *unbend* it like Beckham joke.

sam ballard

Whoah!! I'm actually really impressed by the score this time

Douglas Pluylaar

I was just watching one of your videos! Dropped everything immediately! I always love CD's interactions with Alan. The "Don't- Don't talk for this" is just so .

Rob Sedgebeer

Excellent, entertaining explanation! Mr Flare should probably allow animated emojis so his viewers don't have to rely on text emotes! Really love the ending!

Thanks! I wish I could’ve done proper emojis, but it was way too annoying to accomplish in After Effects. I’m gonna say it’s… a purposeful stylistic choice so as not to distract from the main action!

Piotr Iwaniuk

This early access was worth 70 Polish złoty(s)

Wes Souza

One of your best videos 👏👏

Paper and Light

This is great. Feels good watching you really break it down. Enjoyed the 'streamer' bit as well. Overall, stellar as always!

Yeah, Sure

I love the lore at the end. The quality of these debunks is always insane. Also does the beginning imply that you’ve actually run out of new things to debunk. I hope not.

Macros

Great "old" debunk video. I love it! Leaning the techniques, watching the lore unfold and the interactions with your intern, gold! Just Mr. Flare annoyed me quite a bit, but I guess that's now his job 😄

cHeRnativERA

Great video, I had that headset too at 16:06, served me great for many years So if this was the last of the "classic viral videos" to debunk, what's next?

Benjamin D Tibbetts

Hey, that was super entertaining. Thanks for your dedication to quality! Lately I've gotten into putting on your work streams while I work, because I've found it goads me into spending extra time on improving small details.

RichterCa

I went to sub to flareBTMj twitch stream, but I can't find the link under the video?

Coleman Watts

How did you create the younger version of yourself? That was amazing!

Sascha

This came out amazing! I think this is your best yet, Captain! I really loved all the gags in this video, they were very funny. I did find it ironic how Mr. Flare makes fun of The Captain for being old, yet he sounds exactly like you when you stream? It's almost as if he was voiced by the same person...

James Dominguez

Hands up if, like me, you kept pausing to read all of Mr Flare's stream comments. I kept getting looks from my wife because I was unsuccessfully stifling my laughter while she was in a video meeting.

Dan Kuehling

I’m glad in covering this topic you gave Jibbety Ribbety some shout-outs.

Jeffrey Williams

OMG I loved this one so much, made me wish I could erase my memory and watch all the CD vids again for the first time. Thank you for all the amazing and hard work you put into creating these Alan. BTW I was laughing so hard when intern Alan gets hit in the face with the ball :)

Sim

Just wondering, should this be in stereo?

CaptainDisillusion

OMG, thank you for spotting that!! I can't believe I accidentally exported the final video in mono!! Will redo, along with several visual fixes.

Sam

If you ever do run out of viral videos to debunk you could always join https://forensic-architecture.org/, a group that uses the same skills to investigate war crimes and human rights abuses.

Dave Davies

Great debunk video, obviously, but I can't help but think it would have been easier for Beckham to have kicked the balls and to add the bins in afterwards in the place where they landed. I wonder why it wasn't done that way?

The rest of us have to live with the failure of not being the one and only Alan Melikdjanian. You’ll live! 😆

alittleclass

Flare streamer part was unrealistic, they said way too much of substance. In all seriousness this is one of my favorite videos of yours thus far.

Thermo [D G]

Did you really buy a Rabbit R1 for that bit? Please tell me no...

CaptainDisillusion
>>145435181

But the bins are in the shot throughout the entiiiire video, often all three at once. It would be so much more work and chances to mess up!

CaptainDisillusion
>>145339986

Oh, should add that actually the cue at the end, right before the outro IS original, but I’ve used that in other vids before.

Chad Moore

I saw you had a new video on YT and had to explain to my sons why I was so giddy. Then we watched it together and I had to explain why 69 is a nice number. Cause it's symmetrical. This is your best video, and I'm so happy to see you still creating. Is the opening bit a teaser about some generative AI videos coming in the future? I'd be very interested to see what you have on the subject. Davinci Resolve has been adding generative and LLM AI tools and features for the past few months. I haven't touched them, for no other reason than they don't fit into my workflow.
