Thanks to the helpful suggestions from some of you, I had a chance to fix some minor and major technical issues and reupload!

  • Several VFX shots improvements

  • Replaced the Canon 5D/7D cameras shown with generations that existed at the time

  • THE WHOLE VIDEO WAS ACCIDENTALLY IN MONO 😱

  • Color encoding needed a correction to display more accurately on YouTube

Please consider watching the video again. You might not consciously notice a difference, but it'll FEEL better. (And also help with some starter views before it's public.)

And of course, if you spot any other significant issues, please let me know ASAP.

Like I need an excuse to watch a CD video more than once. 🙂

Steven Gibson

You got it, Cap. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Was so distracted by the bend it like Beckham nonsense last time that I didn’t say… I absolutely loved seeing another extension of the Captain’s technology (even if the shoe interface had me confused ha). Always a good opportunity to flex your VFX skills and have a slight addition to the lore (especially a flex when it’s inconsequential like here or with Dronus, for example). Absolutely loved the smooth resizing of the handheld player along with the dig at reposting Chinese Whispers. Such a small thing but definitely just feels good, you know? Have to disagree on there being no point on you covering excellent VFX (though, of course, you’re right you wouldn’t be debunking them). Would love to see more of that kind of content again a la BTTF or FOTN.

David Whitney

One error. David Beckham is shown with a clearly separated head and jaw when he says "even easier". This proves he's Canadian and therefor could not have lied to another Canadian (South Park rule #26). Also, where can I sign up for FlareBTMj's stream? I need a little more of him today. (side note: why is censored swearing so much funnier than actual swearing?)

Yeah, Sure

I like the improved thumbnail

Minh

aahh the grainy shadow under your hand is gone :D

Carl Fink

Like I wrote in a YouTube comment: Mr. Flare could become the audio track commentator. He did a good job here. I like the irony that the being made of light is the audio guy.

Hbomb

Such a blast from the past seeing Jakub Rollins again

Coleman Watts

I'm blown away by that final shot of you interacting with your past self. How did you do that?!

Vyacheslav Kolobaev

We need director's commentary on this one - so many misteries. From how the younger self was rendered to what does the burnt backlog container represent.

Rachad Koaik

Amazing video! Did you try checking the speed of the ball going to the baskets ? The speed seems unhuman
