Update

We are really sorry, but we had to remove 99% of the descriptions because for someones exhaustive descriptions are a gamechanger. Please remember that what you'll get are 3d Printable Figures, and naither their name or description will make a difference in the use you can make for them once printed. For example, if a D&D Drow or Warhammer Dark Elf is named "Ashen Alfar" for copyright issue and personalization of our brand it will make no difference on the model usage.

Hello Adventurers and Merchants! Time to vote for July!
This month release, the Scourgeland Survivors (human) will be live in few hours, probably tomorrow.
If you have pledged during June (based on Patreon timezone) but you hadn't the time to download the Set, please send us a private message here on Patreon, we will sort it out!

Themes Descriptions

And here a simple description on each theme models. Please remember that these factions/races are not based on existing settings, we are building up our universe that will be used for a Role-Playing Game (cuttently in alpha testing).
As we develop the theme concept we possibly make some little changes.

  • Ashen Inquisitors: This feared and menacing kind of dark Alfar are cunning warriors and priests of evil gods. They make perfect proxies for Dark Eldars, Dark Elves, Drows and so on.   Mount will probably be a kind of lizard.
  • Bear-Tribe Great Goblins: Great Goblins from the Bear-tribe are the biggest mountain goblinoids in our universe, towering creatures that could be used for big Orcs, Ogre, Trolls and Bugbears for the most common games.
  • Eye-Cult Gryphkin: The feathered people of the wind and the sky. These six-limbed creatures makes great proxies for any kind of bird-folk, including Aarakockra and Kenku.
  • Plague-Mine Kobolds: Ignoble lizard-dog horned demons who move around hopping on two legs, these will be useful as proxies for demons, dog-folk and well... Kobolds. Some bigger ones can even be used as Gnolls!

About the topic "what's in the Poll", there are no rules on what gets out and what get reworked. We are simply sketching what we are inspired to sculpt.  How many Sculpts will be part of the winning theme? As always, once we choose a theme thanks to this Poll we will spend the month to further develop/improve the core concepts and create the following sculpts, both in regular STL and presupported version:

  • 6 Modular Miniatures with Swappable Weapons, for various combinations!
  • Standalone Weapons for Loot, customization and our Weapon Racks!
  • 2 "Over-the-Top" Hero Miniatures.
  • 1 Mounted version of a Hero.
  • The Riderless Mount as standalone Beast.
  • 1 Pinup, suitable as Miniature or display collectable.
  • A Scatter Terrain themed on the release.
  • A Sculpted special Base for each Miniature.

Wait, we have 2 Massive Discount Codes for a limited time!

As much as I want some bugbears and bird dudes, Dark Elves were some of the first models I ever painted as a kid and because I had the models I used drow as primary antagonists all through school 😅

Frank Quinn

I don't much see the point in the poll if their newest scourge land sets are always gonna win by a landslide. The goblins, gryphkin and kobolds are (I've been voting goblins for a while) are moot at this point. The models are great don't get me wrong but if next month the scourge land set auto wins I think the illusion of this poll should be wound down.

Caesarion

I know the winner already LOL

Hans-Walter

Though i love the inquisitors, the first batch of mini for the game see the light this month, and beign not yet complete for playing it (i think?), i don't see any reason to not give the kobolds my vote this month ;I'm sure the next batch for eye of tialevor will see the light, if not in July, for sure in August 😁 (and with a worshiper cult to fight 🤣😜)

Sagorath

Kobolds would be awesome!

Chuck Beckmann

It’s cool and all...but yea I’d rather have the other sets ....but because it’s part of their push for a game platform of course it’s going to win....sigh

Tomás López López

The discount code for the Amazons redirects to the May offer, I imagine this will change through the day, and didn't the amazons have like legion units or am I getting the "last wave" thing wrongly?? and the bases, pray for the bases (please)

Broken Lynx

Feels like it wasn’t that long ago that we got the woodland alfar (which could also easily be painted as drow). I really don’t need more elves at the moment. They’re a dime a dozen at this point. Great-goblins or kobolds will get my vote, whichever of the two ends up with the most votes towards the end of the poll.

Vinnie Simonetti

As a at least one other has stated, not entirely sure the poll is useful if the artists have a game type/models in mind. Enough people will auto-vote on that one, leaving the poll rigged in a sense. I'll keep doing it for the ones I want, but... (checks poll) yea, it's definitely not winning at this point (even though it's early). End the poll, do each month of the models needed for the game, then bring the poll back so it's not "rigged".

Brady Hargett

Man, all of these look awesome. I've been voting for kobolds since they became an option but the inquisitors do looks great so guess I'm not bummed that kobolds are 2nd once again.

Ashley Beech

Not really digging any of the choices for past few months to be honest. Quality of sculpts is amazing, but I don't need more goblins, kobolds. The gryphkin I have no use for either, I guess they are a Dungeons and Dragons thing? Not too stoked about more scourge land elves as I have no idea what I could use them for. I collect stuff for use in Warhammer Quest, I guess that's my issue :) So I don't think I will vote this month.

Broken Lynx

Maybe even make it part of a Kickstarter instead? Just a thought. I’m down to try their new game but that’s not exactly why I signed up for their Patreon. I’d happily support it on another platform or patreon once the game is complete though.

J-Zarno .

Uhhh inquisitors frick yeah

J-Zarno .

You could maybe use the inquisitors to replace the new aelves faction coming up, the lumineth

Lachlan Morris

I’d love some more drow themed sets

J-Zarno .

Missed the elves last time so this is noice, I don't choose inquisitors for their game, but because they are awesome

Anonymous

As other said before the poll is quite skewed, I have the feeling that we support an other project here. I might even support it on another platform but I would like to have the option...

Robb

Must have Great Goblins! Nobody does good bug-bears, and the sketches look awesome! Who doesn’t want a modular door/shield for their collection!?!

ArtisanGuild

thanks, we used the wrong link. Now it's linked to the proper collection! Legionaries will be the last wave next month :)

Caesarion

I think they (AG) should consider making this poll a schedule of future release maybe. There are 4 options. So why not releasing all of them by priorities? Most voted will be released first and the other three follows next.

Marti3P

they have said in the past that they don't want to take away new subs ability to vote.

Diogo Gonçalves

Inquisitors sound really cool yes but...can we please do the late ones? kobolds are still awesome for 1º DnD parties and its hard to find decent kobolds to print...

Kevin Pacheco

We need the great goblin guys! <3

Anonymous

I was okay with one month of your new self created RPG figures, and although I will have no use for this June release I figured I would stick it out with the understanding that not every month is going to give me figures I can use. I hope your new project is successful but I feel like others putting in an option that is clearly a preferred choice feels disingenuous. If your plan was to release all of your RPG figures via your Patreon you should just have informed us givenbusbthe opportunity to opt out. In addition I understand you say these can be dark elves but I would disagree at least from the concept art they appear to be elves with goblin hair and nothing I would use as dark elves.

Ganek Cystacae

To be fair, at this point I'd rather we finally see the other options materialise. The elves will obviously win this month. But next month maybe only offer the remaining three options. Then the last two go to vote. Alternatively if scourgeland sets are going to keep getting offered and win by landslides (for any of the reasons already suggested). Then either start trickle feeding some of the other sets mixed in with the winners, so that everyone can get what they want. Or just do full blown sets on the side but put them straight to MMF for purchase. Otherwise the voting is moot and we've got 3 great sets just floating beside the obvious Premier pick each month.

Marti3P

haha you do realise every release is for their game, you are 'using' them for DnD as proxies, all that has changed is the detail in the lore they provide, look at all the past polls every set has lore attached for their world. lol

Anonymous

I wish you'd make a monster only pack! I mean, all these characters are great but in the end player in my D&D campaigns will probably never be fighting so many armies of humanoids.

Marti3P

Everyone stop talking about the AG game being separate from releases its not every release is for the world they are building, you are using them as proxies for other games there is no difference other than the lore descriptions being more detailed. look back on all the other polls they all have lore attached, you not getting the race you want won't change what they are doing.

Efesto

Kobooolds! something tells me that I will never get them :D

SteveWasEre

Be nice to see some additional options rather than recycle the same tired three losers from the last month. Maybe drop the least popular option each month and give two new ones a chance. I mean who wants little kobolds anyway, they're good for about 2 minutes of a campaign before they're just annoying. Maybe something a touch more interesting, like Gnolls or something 😁 Drow I can use though, that'll be very cool. The vampires weren't quite the right proxy

Glitterwolf

One can use all the mentioned factions for either D&D, Warhammer or Kings of War. I only collect and paint for display. My main interests are Undead ( both Gothic and Egyptian), Reptilians/Dinos, Oni/Samurai adn Seamonsters, I'm always interested in Monsters, I like the Survivors, they will fit in my Desert World. This time I will vote for the Birdmen, those look like they could be used as great monsters or Chaos Lords in any setting.

Dynamic Prints Studio

Would prefer a break from the Ashen stuff only for a month since we're getting them with this month. That said, happy to continue my patreon regardless. But those Gryphkin would be interesting.

Fyr

Cool elves, keep it up. They make me nostalgic, I want to print them and paint them for my games in one volcanic island from 2002, if you know what I mean. Good work, well done, keep making unique models. Sorry for bad English. ((

ArtisanGuild

Hey Jake :) Every faction we make is based in our Ashen Throne Setting. Naming them Ashen Alfar because we have no rights on "Drows" doesn't mean they will not be AG proxies for drows, dark eldars, dark elves and so on.

Anonymous

We need more of the uncommon races elfs are everywhere

Bee Four

I don't really get that description is game changer for some people. Like I use minis that aren't supposed to be spellcasters as spellcasters and vice versa. You do you Artisan Guild!

Boudicca

Damn. I love the descriptions! Don't edit it for the loud minority of complainers!

ArtisanGuild

true, and uncommon races are in the poll, like the bird-folk :) We are sketching them as we feel inspired. On another topic, the whole community is asking us dark elves proxies since a year, we should have made them earlier :)

Alastair Christie

Definitely the elves. Your style does them exceptionally, and there is a real shortage of decent miniatures out there. ;)

Le Jeune

les hommes lezards j attend tous les mois moi lol ^^

ArtisanGuild

the whole community is asking us dark elves proxies since a year, we should have made them earlier :) After a so long and high request it's easy to imagine they would get voted, and once they are out the things will continue flowing as usual. Same thing for the Vampire release last year, we all know they would win quickly. Afterall we made 14 Sets and no Dark Elves proxies or anything similiar, once they are out there will be plenty of space for other themes.

ArtisanGuild

Folly the Guide is the next spellcaster of the bonus set, and he will be live in 1-2 days :)

Lisa Kellogg

You should just say Ashen Alfar then put Drow in parenthesis so everyone understands. by the way great choice I'm looking forward to some great Drow :)

Hawke1422

Always so hard to choose. Gimme them all!

J-Zarno .

They are too cool, ome day you will, but I personally wish they wouldn't give them horse armor or doors but actual armor themed for them

Glitterwolf

I'm not a real fan of Elves, but if they get chosen I do like the idea of a Reptilian Monster! Hoping for some Anubi/Horus/Mummy stuff one day or maybe some Indian Mytholgoy based Monsters ( India not Native American!) Samurai would be cool maybe even Undead ones? I love the Amazones will be getting them for sure and I have my eye on those lovely female barbarians. Your minis are awesome .

J-Zarno .

I agree but also the inquisitors are too cool not to vote for them

Glitterwolf

Mythology...darn typos...

Jason

I like the lore. I may not use it immediately, but it's cool too have something to read to get excited about the release.

J-Zarno .

There is a vig epic boss that's an egyptian bone guy thingamajig, he is the boss of a faction, so eventually they'll come around I think

Octavio Carlo

Smh... the descriptions were awesome. Some lore never hurts. People always wanna complain about something. AG... keep on doing what u r doing. Can't please everyone.

Caesarion

Tbh i also collect mostly for paint and display. But to make it more organized, i relate every fantasy minis to warhammer/ninth age lore. It is kinda fun :D

Caesarion

This is really the era of dark elves. In June, i saw 3 patreon creator making "dark elves" theme. And now AG are making it too. So hyped!!!

Frank Quinn

Nice reversal AG making out the ones questioning the auto winning ashen throne sets out as the bad eggs and blaming their longer descriptions turning the masses against the questioners. I'll wait and see what happens in next month's poll if it's a clear run away victory for something else again at the cost of the gobbos kobolds or gryphkin I might need to look at switching to a patreon where the poll matters.

Anonymous

At some point will the Great-Goblins, Kobolds and Gryphkin drop off the options list in favour of new options? It'd be good to mix it up with so new options. Even if it's just the one lowest voted answer disappears for a few months to make room for an additional new choice.

Yellow Sign Studio

Personally, choking on collections of gobbos and kobolds from other artist/collections. Wouldn't miss them.

Cristian Cooney

I’m trying to understand the comments that AG manipulated the vote. I remember when they had to beg Patrons to pick Dwarves. I personally did not want lizardmen, of fishmen but when AG finished up I was really happy to have them in my collection. AG you guys do a great job! Keep it up. Glad to be seeing more elves ...

Domingos Szabo

Since we are in the topic... any chance the "chaos dwarfs"...cof cof I mean Dark flame dwarfs will ever return to the pools? I think they would turn out amazing :) keep it going!

Lord Chronos

Don't think half of the people that voted had read more than a few description lines (in fact, after voting several times for the gryphkin I've just realized reading the complete description that it included several races different from the concept art, like eagles, which I prefer to those depicted in the poll image...). From my point of view the description doesn't bias the results as much as the concept art, and if it is possible I would love to see further developed concept art for those options that are not being selected, just to know what are we missing (For example, I've read another commentary that didn't know with the kobolds, gnolls were also included).

Anonymous

Looked at concept art for the Ashan Alfar Inquisitors - they look cool! & hopefully there will be discount code for the previous Wood Alfar next month too! ... ... Check in a-few hours later to see vote results... Welp! That’s a lot of drama over nothing **shrug** Keep up the good work!

James Nelson

These are all awesome!!!! Can't wait to see them all.

Anonymous

I honestly don't understand the problem. Every patron is entitled to their own vote. The one with the most votes win, It is that simple. If the artist themselves favor one, the vote is still on the patron. As artistry is based on inspiration, the result is mostly favorable if the artist get to work on a project in time with the inspiration. You guys make the best models I have seen so far, may your inspiration never fail!

Beren Gl

I'm sad to lose the 'lore' behind the created miniatures, it makes me feel more intimate with the creation process. It's Patreon here, you give a really small donation to help an artist you like... You're not in a MacDonald crying because they forgot you didnt want pickles or wanted extra cheese :-(

Joseph

I hope the Ashen Inquisitors are a departure from the previous Alfar set. That's the only set I haven't touched yet. The other sets I've printed in full!

Moritz

Please keep up the descriptions! I think you do a great Job every month and should continue to do what feels right to you. Personally I liked the descriptions because they gave me a better idea about the theme beyond just the Concept Art...

Charlotte Heilling

I'm still not able to use the Jun50 link. It is still directing to May.

Joseph

I will miss the descriptions.

John Doerr

Everybody does goblins, too! Doesn't matter what they do, though - AG always puts out absolutely beautiful stuff!

Erik Watts

I think I saw somebody mention it above but I like the idea of taking four options and having the top threebe the “season.” If it’s something you guys are willing to contemplate, I think it might really work. Because a lot of us do really want almost all of these sets. But it comes disheartening to see the one you *really* want continuously not win. That being said, I don’t see myself leaving this group anytime soon. And a lot of us are in it for the long-haul because we love your models.

Rob van der Zanden

Exactly, purest form of democracy. I do kinda get the issue tho, I mean I’m only a Patreon since February so I missed out a lot of cool sets. I’m gathering my own army to use for D&D and since I’m relatively new, I’m gonna need humans, elves and dwarfs with the highest priority, since I can also use them as npc and playable characters. The “older” patreons already collected their set of humans, dwarf and elves so they go into phase 2: enemies. But Since this Patreon is still growing like crazy, and the quality of these mini’s are astonishing, all new Patreons basically want to start with their basic needs all over: humans, dwarfs and elves and the New patreon count is higher then the “old” patreon count, so this won’t change until we get a bigger amount of patreons who have their basic needs, and less new patreons, so they won’t tip the scale so heavily.

J-Zarno .

People have wanted dark elves for a veeeery long time now and all of their releases come from their universe, ashen throne is just a setting within that universe, no different from the rest

J-Zarno .

That's a really good idea! Show another concept for old factions, to give a better idea what they envision

J-Zarno .

Yes I feel like they should mix it up more, because now it's always 3 old things vs 1 new and the new thing will always generate more excitement since it's new

J-Zarno .

Last set was forest people if I remember correctly. These are dark knights and priests

J-Zarno .

I remember starting out thinking "imma just pay a few months and then stop".... Darn you AG for making things that are too cool not to support them

Cold Painting Table

I'm just here for some rad minis. Things that I've wanted had to be pushed back for things I didn't care for, but I still got amazing minis that month. Thanks for the great work AG.

Lord Chronos

Hi, you can just go to Artisan Guild MMF page add the models you want and then use the discount code when those models are in the basket. It is not as direct as the link, but almost, as the miniatures that qualify for the discount are the last ones (except for dwarves)

Logan

One day those Goblins will win lol

Lori McDonald

I really like you putting down ‘can be used as’. It’s very helpful. Please keep it up.

Douglas Rector

Really need some decent Dark Elves at the moment

Abdul Rahman Khan

Of course I would vote for the Ordinators. "We are watching you... scum"

Kyle Sawyer

I just want those gryphkin :(

TreeSauce

C'mon people, elves are a dime a dozen. Vote team bid!

Drew Wikstrom

We’ve got more than enough elves out there, kobolds!

Todd

If the Bear Tribe Goblins ever get selected, will there likely be any unarmoured warriors or variants included? I'd love to use them as proxy quaggoths (for which I simply cannot find a decent model) and crude Bug Bears.

Eu

You 1st worlders are funny! You and your problems! Don't you like the patreon? Get out and don't whine about it.

Ron Purvis

If the Ashen Alafar are chosen, can we get some shields with spiders on them please :)

Julio Ibarra

I really want those plague mine kobolds! Love plague ridden infected models. You can put some awesome sickly coloration and even your mistakes look good! Hope we get them someday. I really want to paint those.

Caesarion

i rarely see them. Well i started being a patreon in february. Though this month, 3 patreon are making dark elves. But for variation of soldiers, why not xd

Anonymous

It's a credit to you guys that I'm really interested in all 4 and struggling to choose!

Anonymous

If everyone who is complaining about their favorite options not beating the shiny new thing would quit splitting the vote on the other three you could each get your choice over the next quarter.

Jason Knudsen

Love the descriptions -- really brings your models to life!

The Painted Wookie

I think a good solution would be to have the 3 options that are left from previous poll as the options in the next months poll then have the last 2 on there own in the following months poll until they have all been done and every ones a winner :) Then start a new 4 choice poll? :) just a suggestion I love any of the miniatures :)

Decaybringer

Its like every poll my least favourite faction gets voted

Goroxx

I don't even have my bloody printer yet but have jumped on this patreon to get in on some of the best minis I have ever seen. Saw the long descriptions last night, but didn't have time to read them. Please put them back up somewhere, they looked interesting.

BoldNotBald

For me, I typically look at all of them, prioritize them, vote on my favorite. and it's in the opposite order that I would've picked. Luckily they all eventually get sculpted it just takes time. :)

honestlyaunicorn .

I have wanted to see the kobolds and gryphkin for months now. Maybe the next poll can just be with the kobolds, gryphkin, and goblins? I really want to see those sets but they never get voted on.

Glitterwolf

I agree, I love a good background story, and besides the one provided one can always use his/hers own imagination or a ruleset from another company. Look at the artwork and vote. I love the quality of Artisan Guild And even when some packs might not be my thing the major discounts for the others will make up for it, as well as the freebies.

Rich Crotty

Exactly. I've been a follower since right after they started up. I'm not getting my printer until this Friday, when I can get it officially as my divorce present to myself.

Skullian

Just voted for the goblins would be nice to pair them up with the spiders from the Amazon Kickstarter some way

Robb

Wow, everyone is always so grateful when these guys do something for us out of the blue that we never expected, and that they never HAD to do for us, but all that good will goes out the window when it comes to the monthly vote. AG—please remember that you guys are fantastic—your customer service is exemplary—and that (besides a very loud few) we will be happy with whatever the poll gives us. Keep on keepin’ on!

Anonymous

Disappointed in the dark elf models being in the lead. There are thousands of dark elf minis out there. That isn't true of Kobolds and especially of Gryphkin.

T. Patrick Ortez

My main concern with the dark elves is that the concept art looks almost the same as this month's, except with wild hair.

Michael Pescuma

I was really hoping for Great Goblins.. I need some hobgoblins and bugbears!

Patrick Krog

Thought Kobolds would be doing better...gotta do those soon!

Jon Liao

Flying lizards. You realize that’s charizard right? Could have caught em all but ya dark elves FTW 🙄

Sam T.

C'mon Kobolds! I BELIEVE!... then again inquisitors do sound cool...but I'm still going for Kobolds!

Sheldon Venter

Yeah I love all of them, but I really want kobolds.

Daniel Olaguibel

not fair! All of them good but. Elves>golbins=gryphkin>kobolds

Tyler Harkins

Dammit. All I want is the gryphkins. Why do we need more elves.

troy

its always the new models

Keith Brown

voted for gryphkins just for @TylerHarkins.

Anonymous

one day gryphkins will win... one day.

Greg Kourakos

ugh why aren't people voting for bugbears...I need some for DnD, that and Gnolls :P

James Harrison

Voted for Kobolds, did my part for the future campaign last month and voted for the Scourgeland Survivors. That and my DM has already put us through the "dark elf" section of his campaign :D

Gwenn McClune

I have to admit really wanting those Grifkin, but I would love some more of the scourge land first. They've got a great sword and planet vibe that I'm really digging.

Anonymous

I'm super in for more Morrowind-style elves!

Glenn Lawson

Love all the options this month! I hope we get around to each one. But I want the Gryphkin first as they the fewest options already available.

Anonymous

We already have plenty of elven models! Bring on the Bird people!

James Nelson

The dark elves look amazing, hell they all do, but the Birds!!! Come on, AG is going to make them EPIC!!! You know this

Luis Lluberes

I am planning a campaign heavily based around Kobolds and Gnolls. That is where my vote will remain but I am SO EXCITED for all four of these options.

Fyrex

No more humans... We need these kobolds

Omar Perez Perez

The truth is that I liked the thematic descriptions :(

jimraynor

the ashen alfar looks so great Oo

Chris Goergen

Oh come on there aren't many good bugbear hobgoblin figs, more elves?!

David Martínez Tarrés

Good correction about descripcions about voting poll.... hopefullly Next voting poll all options are dea with equally...but this month Will win Your favorite option....lol.

Mark H.

Although I am stoked for the Alfar, I have been voting for the Bear Tribe since they became an option

Mini Manatee

Come on Kobolds! Bear is a close second for me, but they're too far behind to have a chance :(

Adam Campbell

Some day I’ll get my precious bird people, but looks like they’re taking another L this month. :(

Sam Kay

I feel like you guys want to make the Bear-Clan Great Goblins (Bugbears), since you guys have posted about them in the past, so that's where my vote goes. Personally, I think you should bring back the longer descriptions. I get that you don't want to bias your patrons to vote for one thing or another, but realistically we're going to be happy with whatever you guys make, so I don't really mind being swayed one way or another. I'd rather hear your pitch. Whatever you guys are most excited to make is probably what ends up being the best set anyway.

Anonymous

I think put it into context - 3023 votes, that half the patrons - and almost half of that has voted for the Alfar, making it just under 1,500 voters. Its not up to AG to decide how the vote goes - just what options they can provide. So to those saying its not fair that the lesser voted ones are not getting picked - its 1,500 ppl vs 300 approximately - if AG chooses the lesser ones (great models still) - it goes against the much larger proportion of voters wishes. If the margin was smaller, it may be feasible (i.e. 300 vs 100) and reasonable to suggest otherwise. There are 3000 people who have not voted - they should get involved to resolve this clearly. Patreon is not meant to be a shop - getting what you want all the time... its meant to be a platform to support creators (live streamers, painters, etc) - and in return you get the created entertainment. With 3D sculpting, we are supporting their time to create these miniatures - just create - and in return we are getting the models. This is not a cheaper shop, than MMF or others. It is a investment to make sure future releases ARE made. Not every release of every patreon I join is my cup of tea. Theres always something to my liking at least. I have supported bear tribe this time - they all sound cool - but when a voting option is given, the consequence of a vote is that not everyone wins - unless you accept that the models are great, and you get a whole set EVERY MONTH - everything will get release eventually. Patience and continued support will make it happen. Just keep in mind, when you dont get what you want one month - you are still building towards getting extra free characters, and amazing epic bosses - models like this in retail would cost you several months subscription. Shame about the backgrounds too - what happened to enriching our imaginations with new stories - issues of proxies? I thought the hobby was all about creating what you want with the tools you are given - conversions, paint jobs etc. There is not proprietary use-definition for these models. 25 years ago - paper cutouts, legos etc were common proxies - if you wanted to DND with a halfelf - did it have to be Tanis, because he was the common and famous option? or could you create your own backstory? Thats the beauty of this - its your choice what you do (within the legal terms of use set by AG) with the models you helped to support to create.

Anonymous

Gryphkin sound pretty cool. I hope to see them in the future!

Marshall Ladd

I miss the stories and lore around the new models. Can't please all 5,500+. Got this far doing things your way. I say keep it up.

Mike Lea

I like the look of these Ashen Alfar Inquisitors. Keep up the great work, I'm always happy with what you produce for us.

Anonymous

I would love it if we got a halfling/gnome option or dragonborn with modular heads based on colors

Neckbeardia

Dark elves are cool simple as yes I would love kobolds though I really wasn't fussed on this months set at all though it will come eventually

CURTIS CRADDOCK

So what's the plan if the Goblins, Gryphkin, and Kobolds never get picked? Will AG rotate them out at some point? It seems kinda weird just to leave them there indefinitely.

Danny A.

Don't be disheartened if your vote doesn't win, guys. I voted Oni-Ogres like 4 times in a row and always lost, then they went away, then came back and won months later. We'll eventually see 'em all.

Clayton Taylor

Any idea when the june group is getting released?

Pierre LaFromboise

I think it is the right decision to shorten the descriptions and keep it simple for the poll. A longer, more detailed, flavor text can be provided when a choice wins.

Anonymous

I'm not sure where I should post this, but a suggestion that i haven't seen is something undead with a lich and death guards. I may have missed it but something I'd like to see

Markus Claus

Why is everywhere the only thing that is in those polls "Dark Elves" in any variation... Can't we get something different. Its not like this is the third Patreon that does a variation of Dark Elves....

Vendy

I really hate that a few people whining made it necessary to remove the lore descriptors. I really liked seeing the lore in the voting posts. People need to grow up. Just because the creators have lore to the pieces that they make, it doesn't mean that you need to follow it explicitly. Some people are really immature.

the alfar aregonna win for sure, but lets try to do some land monesters in august- we got demons, fish, oni, wasteoids, and now dark elves. lets vote some gobbo's or kobolds!

Angel Sainz

I liked the lore too. Should we now cry about it too? And if we manage to complain louder, bring it back?

Robin Blair

I do want Dark Elves, but I think Bugbear type minis are harder to find.

David Mueller

The bears and the eyes must jump ship if we are to see the kobalds rise. There’s not guarantee that we’ll win as they might choose ashen, but at least there is a better chance

Anonymous

I will vote kobolds every month until we get them

Mini Manatee

Bears/Eye's change your vote to the Kobolds, we must take down these Elves!

Chris Goergen

I doubt they will be using you for a white knight sculpt dude. And people are not really complaining to them, but to other voters.

Anonymous

All of these look awesome but I rarely find good Gryphkin type models. Would love to see everyone change your vote to those :)

Estevao Correa

Hehehehe. Either goblins or kobolds would be great for 1st level adventures. Elves are though.

Eli Butcher

honestly, i'd eventually like to see ALL FOUR of these options... i'm choosing the Elves, because I have ZERO good drow. I mean, everyone always just paints the drow differently, and i love the idea of having some elves with a slightly unique style!!! but i'd LOVE some Kobolds!!!

ArtisanGuild

9 hours to go! Tomorrow is sculpting time :)

LTZ - Lewtz

Come on, anything but the elves...

LTZ - Lewtz

done. Bear to Kobolds, I don't need elf model filthiness in my downloads.

Don Knotts

How many elves and dwarves can everyone on patreon do in a year?

David Mueller

Great goblins! Gryphkins! Lend me your ears! While “elves” are cool and all, why not incorporate a little variety. Band together with KOBALDS and together we shall see a change!!

Craig

Come on Elves!

furballx

Hard push for Kobolds I guess... changing my vote.

SpidersOnTheInside

I like all of these, but I will point out that it is ALOT harder to find good bugbear and kobold miniatures. Dark elves miniatures are much easier to find.

Josh Blomquist

I changed mine to kobolds too, however, I know that AG makes everything awesome so I’ll be happy no matter what.

Shannon Badgley

The Alfar were my second choice, I just really wanted to see gryphkin as they are so different. Either way, looking forward to another great month of sculpts. :)

Solaaris

Elves..Cancelling for a month then it seems :(

Glitterwolf

Not really a fan of elves, but if there's a large reptile as mount I will be happy with that.

Glitterwolf

I do hope for a less generic race again next time. The Gryphkin or kobolds are less common.

Giulio Robecchi

@Glitterwolf, the problem is that a lot of the less generic races are also a lot less commonly used. I for one paint the minis with the idea of using them as tokens for D&D and sometimes paint them or design new weapon attachments for specific characters but for the most part I just paint them how I feel like, and if they're dwarves, elves, humans, etc I'll almost always find a use for them, but I don't see myself using a Gryphkin anytime soon cause I run more plain fantasy games usually where weirder races are rare.

Sven Langensiepen

Maybe add halflings to the poll, please? Thank you :)

Anonymous

Missed out on the poll but would of put in for the Kobolds. Goblins 2nd.

Luke Williams

I would love to see a machine-man (War-forged from DnD, murder machine from DCC) themed group, with interchangeable arm guns/cannons/blades. Could be great with your modular system!

Glitterwolf

Gryphkin could be used as Tzeentch Demons / Beastmen, or Aaracokra or Vrock.

Glitterwolf

I would love to see a human imperial army dressed as conquistadores.

Frostedwyrm

Mushroom people/Mycinoids might be awesome as well

Scott Wilkinson

I would love to see a modular set expanding on the single female centaur model and the three female satyrs in the amazon kickstarter.

Bryan Wong

I'm glad inquisitors won, but all of those looked great
