⚠️ This movie contains intense gore, violence and sexual content. And it's just absolutely insane.

Thank youuuuu Caitlin 🥰🥰

tom_j

FINALLY, I PRAYED FOR THIS DAY🙏😭

iMiller21

AHHHH OH MY GOD. WHAT A BLESSING TO HAVE YOU REACT TO THIS!! Pearl might be even better than X so hoping you continue this series!!

Simone

Guess I know what I’m watching as soon as I get home from work 🤭

Lachlan Davis

ahhh i'm so excited. love this movie so much <3

Niqua

Yes! I've been looking forward to this one! I watched this about a month ago and to say it's a bizarre film is an understatement. I think it works better as a dark comedy more than a horror film (though it does both for sure). Well, here we go!!

Donttouchmymilk

Excited to see your reaction to this! It’s also the push I need to finally watch Pearl. :) I honestly didn’t love this one when I first saw it, but I enjoyed it a lot more on my second watch when I was able to dive more into the themes and how damn good the acting is.

Matt KC

I'm so excited for this. You have to do Pearl next!

Roman Chayok

Am I the only one for whom the video is glitchy? 🤔

Roman Chayok
>>135981213

It just has 1 second pauses around every 7-10 seconds 🤔 At first I thought maybe it was my internet, but all the other videos are playing just fine 🤔

chantell
>>135981213

no yeah this one doesn't play for some reason, but also my patreon is weird to where i can't watch any videos that are vimeo also

Caitlin Marie
>>135981213

i just deleted it, i'm in the processing of reuplaoding to this post. gonna be another couple hours now, sorry about that!

dontrell Durant

Does the movie keep freezing and stuttering for anyone else?

The Gamer's Club
>>135981213

it's so worth the wait this movie and pearl are like in the top 10 of fav movies with the acting to the easter eggs

dontrell Durant
>>135982321

Wow. Apparently my Patreon is glitching too. I didn't see any comments when I commented. Now I see a bunch of them. WAAAAY before I commented.

Caitlin Marie

Video is back up! Sorry for the delay. Let me know if it's running okay!

Iggy 5150

Great movie! Please watch Pearl soon, Mia Goth is amazing in these movies! And Maxxxine will be hitting theaters this year! I’m so hyped!

Niqua

The reupload fixed the gliches. Thanks,Caitlin!

tom_j

The old lady's name is Pearl👀 and what's insane is that Maxine and Pearl are played by the same actress

tyler

i love your movie reactions! I recommend Vivarium!

The Gamer's Club

they are making the last film for the trilogy

Henri J. Mertens

When I first watched this I had no idea Mia Goth played Pearl, legit shocked lol. The makeup was really well done

Roman Chayok

Okay, you missed one major thing - the old lady's name is Pearl. And "Pearl" movie is a prequel about her. So that's why she was so fascinated with her, because they look alive. Mia Goth playes both Maxine and Pearl, both in younger and older form! Another thing, this July part 3 of the trilogy comes out - "MAXXXINE". That movie will pick up the storyline of Maxine we started in X.

Roman Chayok

Also the reason why you were so confused about Maxine not being the killer is because the poster you referred to is a poster for "Pearl" 😁

Roman Chayok
>>135998802

Caitlin was talking specifically about her holding an axe. Pearl holds an axe on the poster 🪓

Terrell

As soon as I saw this notification my power went out😭 As soon as it came back on 4 hours later I RAN straight here😂

Roman Chayok
>>135998802

Oh damn, you're right! I never noticed that! Sorry for doubting you then, haha. It's just that it's so prominent on the "Pearl" poster, I automatically associate it with her.

Santana Xavier

Finally subscribed to your Patreon omg can't believe this is what brought me here but hey I'm so excited for it 😭 this trilogy is amazing, hoping you do the other 2 (the 3rd comes out this year)

Henri J. Mertens
>>135995592

You probably know by now but Pearl is the old woman. It’s weird they never said her name, but they did show a picture with her name on the wall once

Sarii

arkya said that it looks like you’re part of the movie and that it’s terrifying

Terrell

I never thought they placed Maxine in the poster to be seen as the murderer, I thought it was just to hint that she was the final girl and they gave her an axe to look badass

Terrell

Pearl is definitely not as good as X imo opinion but still good. Maxxine trailer looks REALLY good tho

Syd

I haven't watched your reaction yet but I loved this movie and I'm looking forward to it! When/if you watch Pearl please know that I cannot stop connecting it to 'Clara Bow' in my head... it's a sickness

La Toya Sheri

I hope you continue and watch Pearl and hopefully Maxxxine when it comes out. Mia Goth is so beautiful and talented.

Jade Hunter

I can't wait for you to watch Pearl and the new film, MaXXXine :)

Robbie Corrie

Glad you're finally doing this one. It's one of my favourite spins on the final girl trope in recent memory and I cannot wait to see Maxine's story completed in the third installment later this year. Looking forward to your Pearl reaction whenever that comes. Mia Goth absolutely steals the show in that one especially during one particular scene, you'll know when you see it

Robbie Corrie

Another great Ti West film I highly recommend is The Sacrament from 2014. It's a found footage film loosely based on true events and... *gasps* isn't supernatural based

restlessmodem

The red light looks very cool and fitting for a horror movie atmosphere.

emma🦢

My fave little detail about this movie is when Jackson wakes up in the night and goes to drink some milk, the guy that's in the basement is on the side of the carton and it says he's missing!!! So cool

Rafael Calmon

The fact that Mia goth played both pearl and Maxine in this movie is insane

La Toya Sheri

I think you will love the movie Pearl a lot and it really goes into the old lady character to show how she became what she did. I'm super excited for the Maxxxxine movie. Mia Goth is so gorgeous and talented. Idk if you u know that she played both the Pearl and Maxxxine

Anthony Diaz

and maxxxine trailer reaction maybe 🫣

Dylan Oliveira

omg i've been waiting on this reaction!! This and Pearl were so good!

alejandro

X & Pearl are instant horror classics imo. the acting, cinematography, sound design, story, chef's kiss. the third part to the trilogy MaXXXine releases on july 5th if you haven't heard about it yet !!

Kaitlin Hilton

damn they sure do like to make us wait for the murder

Tswizz

Pearl is peak cinema, Mia Goth supremacy!!

Tswizz

Just finished and yeah Pearl will make EVERYTHING make sense to you 😂😂 can’t wait!

Tswizz
>>136203215

Also have you seen Everything Everywhere all at Once? If not you have got to, A24 at their peak

Kaleb Meridieth

oh pearl will make everything click! its so well done and the fact that there wasn’t a grammy nomination is crazy

PCTech714

These X-Men movies keep getting stranger and stranger. :)

cloudy.apples

Please please please watch ratter

Jamie

Please watch thanksgiving and SCARY MOVIE it’s a parody of scream please watch them

Daniel Garcia

For when the anthology Reaction 🥺🥺🥺

Iggy 5150

Something I forgot to mention, I'm not sure if it's been brought up, but for us that saw X in the theater, after the credits finished rolling, the trailer for Pearl came on, which came as a complete surprise as we didn't know there was even going to be a sequel, or in this instance a prequel. Apparently Mia Goth and Ti West went to work immediately to tell the tale of the old lady from X (played by Mia Goth in amazing makeup, a detail I missed until I got home and looked up X online) It as a total surprise to see an immediate continuation of the story with the character of Pearl. Again, Mia Goth absolutely slays with her performance. I can't wait to see your reaction to it!

David Chamberlain

*This is your Patreon and your rules so I’m just voicing this, and I love your channel 🩵* those of us watching your uncut movie reactions are horror fans and don’t need things blurred. I feel like a warning should be sufficient to send anyone away who can’t handle watching along, because the rest of us are paying to watch uncut reactions. Either way, what you blur tends to be rare and understandable so keep doing you, and keep up the awesome work!!

danikitty

you have to see Pearl omg. it explains everything about the old woman so well & there’s a 3rd one coming out this year called Maxxxine!

Jon Kugler

Lol so u blur out the sex see but not all the nudity

Torre Johnson

i love your horror movie reviews

i've just decided that i don't want sexually explicit content on my patreon, it's really as simple as that.

Steven Bucchieri

Sorry I'm so late on finally watching this...I've been jumping around a little bit on the patreon vids. I had the time in between play-off games to work on getting up to date. Watching it with you was actually my first time ever seeing the movie (actually most of the movie reactions is also my first time seeing) and bruhhhh!! That was so wild! I agree with you on the first half being really slow...I was worried I wasn't gonna like the movie as a whole, but that last 30 min or so was really good! I found it to be a very satisfying ending...it tied everything together well. I hope I'm still as strong as that old lady when I get old! lol. Gonna have to watch the Pearl vid soon. Side note: Watching movies and listening to albums with you is the best! Either you are thinking the same exact thing I am, or you add something funny or interesting that adds to the experience

Meghan Blust

doesthedogdie.com <- a lifesaver if you want to know about specific triggers before deciding to watch a movie, it has more than just horror which is great
