The movie that started it all for me when i raided my parents vhs collection. Nightmares were had but an undying love for the genre was born

Samantha

This movie is one of my October mosts!! So glad you liked it! Tatum is the best character for sure lol Would love to see you do the rest of the franchise :))

Davante

Nice! Was never a huge fan of the films but I do love the TV series, Season 3 out of all of them was the best.

Cat Rizzo

J Ramos

subtle reads

Please react to the rest of the movies! I've seen a few but not all 6 👀

Noah

Im glad u enjoyed it! i would love to see ur reactions to the rest of them :)

Jade Hunter

Fun fact! Drew Barrymore was marketed as the lead actress in the film, so having her be the first person killed was actually mind-blowing at the time

Brandon Curtsinger

Finally!!! This is my favorite scary movie franchise, and I really hope you continue watching the rest of them!

Elizabeth Heyn

I need you to keep covering these! They're so fun :) and thank you for posting this! Happy spooky season!

Jenny Manchulenko

The principal is Henry Winkler, and the deputy is David Arquette, and the girl playing Sydney is Neve Campbell, also the friend is Rose Mcgowan from Charmed, and Sydney's boyfriend is Skeet Ulrich, and the reporter is Courteney Cox.

Bradley Martens

Cozy Horror, I like that! I hope you watch the rest of them, they are fun movies

Raj Hudek

It took longer than two hours, because I couldn’t ignore calls, but killer reaction! And your reaction confirmed what I was kind of thinking or at least hoping: That if you love this, you'll love Happy Death Day! It could have gone either way, so I'm really stoked you enjoyed it. So yes, the janitor was dressed like Freddy Kruger and also played by Wes Craven. This movie was written and directed by Wes Craven. Wes was the creator of A Nightmare on Elm Street as well. He includes several Easter Eggs throughout the film. The call in the opening scene with Drew Barrymore was a throwback to the 1979 Slasher “When a Stranger Calls.” There were many throwbacks and references like this. He also plays on all the classic Horror movie tropes. He cleverly uses Randy played by Jamie Kennedy to teach us how horror movies work! All-in-all a superb slice of the horror movie pie and even better once my favorite horror movie reactor reacted to it. I was in love with Neve Campbell throughout high school because of this movie, and it turned me onto Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy as well. Really a lot of actors including Courtney Cox, David Arquette and even Rose McGowan. And the principal was Fonzie from Happy Days, Henry Winkler. He's in a ton of Adam Sandler movies. I could rant on and on, so I'll end with thank you so much for starting my favorite month, horror movie month, off with such a banger!!!

Gabe

I've never actually seen any of the Scream movies before, so it was fun to experience it for the first time through this reaction!

Caitlin Marie

i was reading through these and i think i just accidentally deleted someone’s comment but i don’t know which one it was so if it was yours i apologize 😭

Nerf

Ahhh can’t believe you’re watching it! I hope you watch the rest, I remember you saying you didn’t love slashers but scream is so fun!

Marcusssssssssss

I totally think you should do the rest! 2 is good, 3+4 are eh but then 5+6 are good

Bryce Hatley

Would love to see you react to the rest of the Scream movies!

Joel Wattigny

If this is a comedy, what the hell was Scary Movie lol

Colby

OMG Yes <3 you need to watch the rest of them!!!

Jake Williams

Please do all 6!! Also you should watch The Gallows & The Gallows Act 2 really solid found footage style horror movie I think you’ll love!

Mateo

sooooo, you should definitely watch the whole franchise. the third one is my least favorite and prob will be yours too (it’s the one with most comedy, i think). and the last three ones (4th, 5th and 6th) are the most gory, def more horror than comedy. so i think you should check all of them. and always trying to know who the killer(s) might be is the best

Liam Hooper

PLZZZZZZ REACT TO NICOLE BY NIKI!!! IT IS FALL WHICH IS A PERFECT TIME FOR THIS!!! WE PROMISE U WILL LOVE IT!

Jonesy96

You gotta do the whole franchise. These films are so much fun, and Wes really revitalized horror in the 90s with Scream. :)

Tionne

Okay for this Caitlin I really think you should do the whole franchise. Trust and believe you will not regret it.

parALICEis

hope you´ll react to scary movie

Piper Porter

You should definitely do the whole series! The third one is generally agreed to be the worst but the fourth is one of my favorites and the whole series is just so good!

Bianca

you should watch the rest of the series even though the cast changes there are such likeable characters in all of them

Ashley Marie

Yes please do rest of screams!

David

Andrew Hicks

You have GOT to do a Scary Movie franchise watchathon 😂 I think you’re deep enough into horror to get most of the references, besides black swan which you would LOVE LOVE LOVE

Armands

Hello, this was my first time watching 'SCREAM' as well. I'm not a 100% scary movie fan, totally would not watch them by myself. This is definitely my favorite horror movie so far. I enjoyed it so much, I like the cheesy parts. Scary and funny? Heck yess, that's going to be my go to since now. Enjoyed watching the movie in this kind of format, makes it a little bit less scary and more fun to watch. Hopefully can watch the sequels with you as well. Thank you!

Allison Schleicher

I hadn't watched Scream before either but it was such a fun watch. I didn't mind it being cheesy, I liked the self awareness too.

Switch

So sad im here late, but so glad you got around to this classic. Must watch for any horror fan. Great Horror flick, while being an all-time "straight-face parody". From a Rushmore Horror director, gives so many odes to past horrors, all the way down to the Psycho-ish marketing with DB. (s/o Mama Scream Queen hehe) Also just a cool capsule of that moment in time & culture as well.

Iggy 5150

I was fortunate enough to catch this one in the theater in its final days on the big screen, or rather, just before it blew up thanks to word of mouth, remember, this was before social media folks. Yes I'm old. Needless to say, it completely blew me away and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Scream revived and revolutionized the horror genre, just as SAW and Paranormal Activity would do in the years to come.

PlumDutchess

In the original script, the motive was way darker. In the first version Sidney's mother sexually abused them. And that's why she was killed.

Neolore

At 16:00 notice this slow version of the Blue Oyster Cult - The reaper song

LexJordan

Would you please consider reacting to the scream tv series? It’s really cheesy at times but it has good moments and I’m obsessed 😂

bry

cloudy.apples

We need the purge series next!!!!

Tswizz

“Did you kill Matthew Lillard?” “Where is Matthew Lillard?” “I don’t remember Matthew Lillard dying did I miss something”? GIRL 😭
