....huh. I guessed "Deaf" to be honest. I know Autism can be different for everyone, but being autistic myself, this behavior is kind of odd to me. Buuut I guess that just means I have something to learn here.

Well he isn’t deaf but autistic can be one with poor eye contact. Hence not being able to see AJ. Awesome that he is going to learn about autism.

I believe it's a sensory and shyness kind of thing... it's actually not uncommon for an Autistic kid (even adults) to be shy :)
