Sanji turning to stone is so dumb it's actually hilarious but Chopper sells the whole performance for sure lol. I really think the whole nosebleed situation is kinda overblown (edit: overblown by the fandom) even tho yes it can get almost annoying when overdone but so far it tracks.

i don't mind it too much, i always saw it as a way to introduce the whole rule that fishman cannot give blood to human, and to show that there is not a lot less human than usual on fishmen island even thought it's a big tourist spot. once it was introduced the sanji loosing blood from nosebleed stoped right away

I don't think the Sanji nosebleed thing is to separate him from the group, it's instead just a ploy to setup the fishmen/human having the same blood types but being unwilling to donate it.. I find it brilliant, and given it served its purpose Oda is now tuning it down so it doesn't end up getting too annoying. I have never been a huge fan of nosebleed trope in anime, but this is the first time I have ever seen it used as a plot point lol

I am pretty sure Sanji turning to stone here is a joke that the princess is so beautiful that she doesn't even need a devil fruit power to turn Sanji to stone. Although I will say that the Anime does add extra Sanji scenes to fill in time.

The Sanji moment regardless of if you find it funny or not .. was used to set up the discrimination problem between fishmen and humans when it comes to donating blood. They even talk about how that played a role with fisher tiger when they were hanging out with the mermaids a few episodes back

we both just got really sick and couldn't record we were gonna do a stream today, but we had tax stuff come up so we were only able to record one ep. Still working on podcast, will be out in a couple days, and last of us season 2 and all other series will return. And from here on one piece will go back to daily
