It was frustrating to read the comment section of the last video because everyone disagreeing with stuff you said had all the future context in their minds. From what you had seen I don't think anything you said was actually unreasonable but people seemed to take it as though it was your opinion on her character based on everything they know, when you still havent seen her whole story.

I don't know if I want to rehash what I said in my previous discussion because it was long so ill just refer you to my comment on ep 544 but to summarize, its the act of showing compasion to any human, regardless of their evil deed is something the entire world can learn and live by. Its a vision of equality that goes beyond what she is capable of but its admirable and felt very strongly amongst those who chose to pass on her beliefs.

Was waiting for this one with a lot of impatience. Especially after last episode's discussion, which is why the comment section was a bit frustrating to go through as people were discussing having hindsight. The reaction you guys had was quite intended as we first focus on Tiger's side of things before going into Otohime's. (The pacing didn't help either) But like you said that's kind of the point with episodic reactions and reviews. Love Otohime a lot and can't wait to see how the rest of it unfolds.

Yeah, you are so beyond the cliche stereotypical basic writing that oda had in early OP lol, I mean compare ennies lobby to this. Its like a children's story. so it’s nice to see you acknowledge the writing to be the best in the story so far.

Yes its not that fisher tiger's story is better then Queen Otohime's its there approaches were drastically different and the way they viewed the world. He believed that separation was the only way for Fish-Men to avoid continued suffering and discrimination from humans and his actions of course were very heroic, but he also fueled anti-human sentiment among some Fish-Men. He saw the world as a place where just simple words and cooperation would never achieve peace and harmony, which of course ended up being the truth. Where as Queen Otohime, believed in a peaceful coexistence and integration between Fish-Men and humans through diplomacy and changing the hearts of minds.

Hopefully patreon fixes soon. The whole site went down yesterday and they’re apparently fixing stuff And we have Vimeo for all shows other than OP, cause we used it before patreon added their video hosting. We’ve considered stopping paying for Vimeo, but in times like these it’s worth it.
