I always wondered about the "devil fruits giving inanimate objects life" aspect of them. Does that imply that devil fruits have souls in them? Or are even the "alive" objects not really "alive", like they don't have a soul? Maybe the "there is a devil inside the fruits" that someone (I forgot who) talked about early in the show really had truth to it lol
