The binding vow you guys talked about with Sukuna was NOT used during the Shibuya incident, Itadori was simply fed a lot of fingers by the 2 girls near death and that brought Sukuna out and he healed Itadori's body. The binding vow from season 1 is very much in effect and the specifics of it are: "I have two conditions, One: when I chant "Extension," you'll hand over your body for one minute. Two: you'll forget this promise. I'll promise that i won't kill or injure anyone in that minute."

Yeah but that spread in the manga is iconic. Had a real sense of darkness and dread. These two ep's pacing felt sporadic. It's fine for the fight scenes, but for the non-fight scenes they should have reflected the groundedness/grunginess of the manga.

I completely disagree but thats ok, I think the dread translated perfectly if not even looked and felt significantly better than the manga. I think the actual scene with rules being explained is still to come too tbh.

"Translated perfectly". The entire rules lasted a total of two seconds within the episode's runtime. The bright sky as well doesn't really indicate dread. Same as in the OP. Why are the games looking so colourful?

The blood mixing was more symbolic imagery of their relation for the anime rather than an actual trigger, it was just the "feeling" of Yuji's near death state, similar to the end of season 1 when he felt Eso and Kechizu die

Also to clear up the Zenin family tree, Ogi isn't Toji's father, he was stated by Naoya in Ep. 1 to have daughters, ofc those being Maki and Mai. Other than that, you're correct about how theyre related!
