Thank god we have had a fantasy resurgence in Anime. It was bleak for a while with all the isekai garbage making up most anime. I know nothing about it but I am also excited for Jaadugar which is being done by science saru. Fantasy hype!

I was planning to cut down on patreon for a few months for financial reasons, but nahhh I just had to re-join for Witch Hat Atelier especially. I need to see the full length and discussions for this series from y'all 2. so freaking excited <3

The composer for Witch Hat Atelier is Yuka Kitamura (one of the main Composers for the Fromsoft games and composed lots of iconic tracks in Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Dark Souls etc.) It's a pitcure perfect choice for the Anime and the music captures the whimsy and folklore feel of the manga already. This Spring Anime Season is shaping up to be one of my favortie in a long time, with many great/anticpated manga getting wonderful anime adaptations. Hope you're also somehow able to add Akane-Banashi (refreshing and unique Shonen Jump Series) and Nippon Sangoku (same editor as the Orb manga and recommended by the Orb Author), cuz they're super interesting and great choices for the channel as well

The Anime has been in production for a long time and was delayed for months to get everything polished and all the episodes have seemingly finshed production before airing, which is always the best news and quelled a lot of my fears with the production and keeping up the high/ambitious standards they've set with the first 2 episodes

Name of the Wind & Wise Man's Fear are probably my favorite fantasy books. I just hope Rothfuss actually finishes the story and doesn't pull a GRRM

It is vaguely European medieval fashion. People in the past wore very colourful clothes. Media has done so much damage to that notion. Almost no one wore just brown or black. This fantasy show is closer to true medieval history than almost all historical shows.
