Capitano

In the anime the squad defeats the fodder and then Nami uses the lightning attack against Big Mom only. In the manga Nami defeats all of the fodder with that lightning strike. I think they should have kept it that way, dunno why they changed that.

I really love the parallels with Pudding and Sanji. Both had similar situations of being born to controlling abusive parents who couldn't accept who they were, were expected to hide parts of themselves, and ultimately aimed to use them as tools for self serving purposes. Sanji was able to break away from his cage at a young age but unfortunately Pudding spent her whole life tormented. He's able to look past her mask because of his own experiences, and he shows her the kind of freedom she thought she could never have. Seeing their relationship develop in this way is genuinely one of the best parts of this arc for me.

Pudding is genuinely one of my favourite characters in the whole series. Her dynamic with Sanji is priceless.

Whenever you're wondering why they added/changed something the answer 99% of the time is For padding 😂if they see an opportunity to add fights they do That's why the Germa fights the past 2-3 episodes were just that.

Sanji Joestar

💯 Couldn't have said it better

Artemis

The fodder enemies that you see attacking the thousand sunny were actually not part of the manga story. They were extensions to pad the action out. in the Original manga, the lightening strike that nami used in the previous episode actually struck down big mom and all of her surrounding weaker soldiers.

Pudding losing her cool and going on megalomaniacal rants is actually so funny holy shit 😂

Oussama Essamadi

Pudding got a Sanji and Sanji got a Pudding.

My only real issue with the Pudding stuff is that the reveal of her being a villain was done so well, and I think the turn around for her to not being one was done way too quick. I get why it happens, I just wish there was more character development involved in it besides one scene with Sanji and a flashback.

David P

Nah, it’s peak 👏

David P, it's ok to critique things. There's something called toxic positivity. It's nice to hear different opinions. Listening to others can help you a lot in life, trust me

Alexandre

I hate the whole Sanji and Pudding thing, not only because she is basically a child, but I liked her so much as a villain.

Alexandre

Exactly. For me there's also the problem of her being a teenager. Oda did that for literally no reason. My boy Sanji is always gonna be known as a pedo bc of that.
