Waiting a week just to get 5 more scraps of information and to slowly push the story along is killing me This mini arc felt like they’d exposit, pause the exposition, restart half of the previous exposition, and then pause again + loop that every episode

Well, I liked the episode, and I didn't feel it dragged too much. I really enjoyed the breakfast with them all, and the passive aggression that underpinned it. But speaking generally about the episode, it really does feel like the prologue is over now. We have the status quo and where everyone is, and the first goal for both twins is to find their parents. By the way, I like the dynamic Arakawa created for them; unlike the Elric brothers, who were always together, making Asa and Yuru separate seems very interesting. (God, I so want them to have a normal reunion with their parents.)

And speaking of the twins' separation, it also creates an interesting dynamic due to the factions they belong to. It will be fascinating to follow the story from two different perspectives.
