Yh Fujitora wasn't kicked out, him and Ryokugyu/Greenbull are the two new admirals after the Timeskip. He was mentioned by Doflamingo when Fujitora was on Green Bit. They were both drafted. At the end of Dressrosa, during Doflamingo's speech on Tsuru's boat, we also saw a silhouette of Ryokugyu.

one pace would be SO good here, I checked it recently and all 3 episodes are edited pretty seamlessly, literally can't stand when One Piece does this stuff with flashbacks, we practically get 10 minutes of legit content per episode, if we're lucky at that

We heard about Ryokugyu (Green Bull) on Dressrosa. Doflamingo mentioned that him and Fujitora joined the Marines through the Military Draft during the timeskip. They had to fill two admiral positions because Akainu got promoted to fleet admiral and Aokiji left the Marines.

15:25 and onwards, there is no evidence to suggest that the Admirals let alone Akainu are "obviously" not strong enough to take on the Emperors. Also, how would that benefit the World Government? That's not how the world works. That's not how power works. People in power stay in power by maintaining the status quo. The Three Great Powers - Warlords, Admirals and Emperors - are the status quo. The World Government and the celestial dragons have stayed in power for 800 years for multiple reasons I'd say. Maintaining the balance is one of them, just like in real life. It does not benefit them at all for, say, the Admirals to truly go all out and target the Emperors. In fact, we see that they'd rather deploy an Admiral to punish those who harm a single Celestial Dragon. And in fact a Celestial Dragon can call an Admiral to their aid at their whim. It's all about the staus quo and maintaining the power of the people at the top

I'm playing Yakuza 7 right now and it's the same shit. The three powers are necessary to maintain the great wall. But if one or more sides begin to weaken, the wall is at risk of being poked creating a hole and eventually crumbling, thus the status quo crumbles as do the people at the top. But I guess to Luffy, that would equate to freedom. If Luffy was a bit more intelligent and knew how the world works, I'd bet he'd say something like "I can't stand it. It feels like I'm suffocating", similar to what he said to Doflamingo about his Bird Cage. I'm not fully siding with Luffy here, nor is Oda. Sometimes a wall is necessary to maintain general peace. Y'know, in most cases the Navy protect the common folk from the pillaging Pirates and what not. Luffy is aiming to destroy that. So is Luffy's ideaology right? Or is the World Government's status quo good enough, despite there of course being injustices in the world they've created despite the general peace and stability? Rhetorical question. Shit's all grey

2 episodes per day for reverie might help fix the pacing issue reverie has because of all the filler. It probably takes the same amount of time as a normal episode lol Manga was non stop reveals and hype. What a great time it was.
