Funnily enough, The Hiyori reveal is made much more obvious in the anime with the hair color of kid Hiyori being shown. It was still relatively 'obvious' in the manga with the introduction of Komurasaki, quickly followed by the page turn/end of the chapter where Momo says his sister should be somewhere. Even if many don't pick up on it. In the manga, There's a striking difference in that all characters have either black or white hair. None has hair with Halftones etc. The only exception so far in the entire manga is Shanks. Even Kid who also has red hair doesn't receive that treatment. So, many characters's hair color is up for guesses. For example, Toko here has light pink hair. But in the manga the hair is fully inked. Queen too, who's also blond, has inked hair in the manga. It's all a matter of what looks good in terms of B&W contrast. So the colored versions get to be very surprising.

This episode feels slow because its manga chapter was already partially adapted during the last episode. Combining both episodes gives you the complete chapter, making this another classic case of Toei Animation stretching out the pacing. Fortunately, the next episode kicks off a highly anticipated arc in wano.

Its been roughly 1:1 for wano for most episodes but this episode was about a half a chapter of material. The pacing starts to get quite noticeable and more egregious when your only adapting like 8-9 pages.
