We've finally reached one of my favorite enemies and stands in the entire series with Oyecomova and his stand "Boku no Rhythm wo Kiitekure" (The longest name in the series to date!) I absolutely adore how truly batshit his design is, even for Araki! The blindingly white skin, dark U.S. Flag makeup, and clock tattoos paired with his cap with his dreads poking through the top and a bug shield to cover his face. Topping it all off with the open vest, skirt and boots... I remember him being the first character that made me question if Araki was on something when creating him! 💀 (Side note, I know it's a meme with JoJo, but he also genuinely caused some Bi Panic in me as well... 🫪) He basically has a weaker, but insanely versatile and long range Killer Queen, and the fact that he was so proficient with it after only having it for like a day or two is astounding! He genuinely crafted scenarios that I can't imagine how other JoJo's would overcome without grievous injury, like the wasp and cigarette smoke bombs, his potential is truly terrifying! 🕓💣 This is also the very last battle of the weekly manga schedule, after this JoJo officially swapped from a Shonen to a Seinen focused series and has been releasing monthly ever since! Last thoughts, I'm glad that Gyro's "One More Shot!" was given the respect that it deserves! The throw and Oyecomova' face being hit so hard that the bug screen carved it are two of my all time favorite pieces by Araki, it's so visceral! (Fun fact: the move is Gyro's grab in the CyberConnect2 JoJo games! 🥎)

I LOVE JOJO

Another interesting fact is that his Stand has a Japanese name—which is unusual for Stands—but the funniest part is that the Stand's name is simply the Japanese title of the very song that inspired the user name "Oye Cómo Va."

Tobi.SG

fun fact: Oyecomova's VA (Sasuke's) voiced Bucciarati in the games before part 5 was adapted, also Yuki Kaji voiced Johnny in them as well, Johnny's official VA does sound a little like Yuki Kaji at times

Stand Master Oyecomova Stand Name Boku no Rhythm Wo Kiitekure Bro's a terrorist so an ability that literally spreads like wildfire makes sense for him😂

It's a rule that you can't change horse in episode 1. That's why they identified each horse's noseprint.

BOLDcast

Thank you for the reminder. Ep 1 was so long ago. I was wondering about that too because the race is partly about pacing yourself so you don’t kill or injure your horse

Afaik Wheel of fortune (car) and Strength (battleship) from Part 3 are stands normal people can see, but i`m pretty sure there are more.

Zeppeli is Italian, and with the seal containing the French Lily as a symbol we can reason that he serves the historical Kingdom of Two Sicilies who had a ruling house descended from the Bourbons of France. They pretty much held most of southern italy IRL, but part 7 takes place in 1890 and italy unified and kicked the bourbons out in 1861 so theres some alt history stuff going on
