Not necessarily. Depends on how they fell. The Queen Mama Chanter is enormous, dwarfs the Sunny. If the ship fell wrong or upside down they'd not only have issues getting it back up or salvaged but also fix possible damages and all that. Big Mom just said they finally got in contact and that the ship was okay. It's possible they were dealing with that until now. Also meaning they weren't aware of the alliance until the day of the raid. So they were operating with the assumption that they're in enemy territory and couldn't get help. All they knew was she was alive thanks to her vivre card. Also Big Mom's careless enough to take her time with that.

i mean lets be real, daifuku alone could probably spin the ship around, and they have perospero to create braces with his candy. There is zero obstacle that would take them 2 weeks to attempt to climb the waterfall again. This is a plot convenience. I don't like how every keeps spamming "DONT UNDERESTIMATE YONKO CREW" and then when it takes them 2 weeks to climb the waterfall, we're supposed to jump through hoops to justify it for Oda 🤷‍♂️ At least he remembered them, But he should have come up with a reason that it took them this long. Maybe he did, and we just didnt see it there, but Its not the audience's job to justify stuff like this in my opinion

It's definitely convenient for sure and needs some unnecessary justification. I wouldn't say it's nonsensical however since I wouldn't put it past Big Mom to forget about her kids for a bit. Time wise it's been around 10 days, 5 since they allied, which the kids only learned about on raid day. I just don't think there's much that can be done in their situation with the ship. It's just too big. Daifuku's genie is barely bigger than a tart ship, smaller than the Sunny.

Agree. My head cannon is that since most or almost all of them are DF users and the first time they fell they were caught off guard so most of them got thrown over board and got washed away by the strong currents at the bottom. The non DF users had to rescue, regroup and possibly fix the ship spanning 2weeks. 😅
