Araki was definitely in his Body + Cosmic Horror phase when he was making Stone Ocean, the sheer imagination and skill to write and draw the plant transformation scene in just a few panels is still super impressive! 🌱 Plus from the main characters' perspectives, the unknown element of the bone and the sunlight turning the prisoner and the bloated corpses into trees, only to be greeted by an "egg" with a green child inside with the same birthmark as Jolyne... I'm going back to my cell and waiting out the rest of my sentence after witnessing that! 💀

There's some examples of Psychic Connections through Stands in previous parts indeed -Dio awakening Stands in the Joestar bloodline -Enya Geil feeling the death of her son and even receiving the exact same wounds on her face. Just like Jotaro with the Jolyne scar. -Dio, Jotaro and Joseph sensing each other throughout the part and during their chase. -Trish and Diavolo sensing each other and Diavolo even having a similar ''soul'' to her, tricking blind Buccelati.

this part is so weird and stand are so complex man. thank God Araki goes back to basics in part 7. i don’t even remember most of these stands cause i was so confused most of the time
