also: vikram lived in the library's annex back in the 1840s, and so his clothes and a lot of his possessions where kept safe in the library for 200 years. you see him wear more of his own clothes from the past because of this, but he does start to wear more and more modern clothing as the season goes on to visually represent him acclimating more and more into the future/present and letting go of the past.

this episode fully solidified the main romances the fandom wants from this show as vikram/connor and charlie/lysa so hearing you guys both comment on how they should kiss made me laugh my ass off

I love how Eric when he hears ghost train immediately thinks of derren brown's ghost train, an almost universally panned theme park attraction and not the legend this and the attraction are based on of a train that is a ghost.

funny you mention that this episode reminds you of a haunted house cause s1 e8 is an entirely horror/slasher movie inspired episode about a haunted house that centers on cassandra (lindy booth's character) and is basically a giant excuse to do a mini slasher with lindy as the final girl like the scream queen she is.
