when I went to get a Feastables bar to try there was a kid and his mom there and he was crying because she wouldnt buy him one

Look, I appreciate the sentiment, and I love some garbage-tier chocolate myself (Reese’s cups are my favorite candy after all) but the one and only Feastables bar I tried tasted like the fresh tooth dust coming off of the dental drill at the dentist smells.

I always forget that American chocolate is just... literally vomit flavoured so whenever they encounter *any* chocolate without butyric acid (which is the chemical that gives vomit its distinctive flavour and smell) is treated as being a good chocolate. Eric, I highly recommend you import a bar or two of Whittakers chocolate which is made in New Zealand and is so good. I recommend just the regular bar which is the creamy milk chocolate one and the hazella bar which frankly speaking is highly addictive in its flavour texture and consistency. I live in Australia and now just buy Whittakers chocolate which is exported to us and fairly affordable but might be a bit costly to get in the US. I still think it's worth trying it once or twice though.

Eric I think you'd love the Flightless Bird episode where David Farrier does a mini investigation into why American chocolate tastes different to the rest of the world, if you haven't seen it

I just saw a movie called The Informer, featuring your favorite actress Una O'Connor. It's actually pretty interesting seeing her do the same screaming act from Invisible Man and Bride of Frankenstein in a fully serious situation, and put some real dramatic effort into it.

My mom really likes it too, she said it reminds her of the Carlos V chocolate bars from Mexico. I know they sell those in places in the US too, random little shops and stuff
