Paper faces on parade lookin ass...

Finally, after three (four technically?) seasons of Bridgerton, it is time to appreciate the handsomest boy. Benedict takes center stage to hopefully help us understand why the most eligible bachelor in the whole freakin ton would give up his life as a rake to settle down with, well, anyone!!!

Oh damn wait... that chick in the mask tho! AND THAT TWIST???

Okay yeah, this is gonna be the best season yet.

A bunch of answers to your questions throughout the episode: (1) The lady that plays Sophie's step mother also voiced Caitlyn in Arcane. (2) The whole ton knows that Penelope is Lady Whistledown - that's why they were trying to get close to her at the masquerade in epsidsode 1. They were hoping she would talk about them in her column because they all still enjoy gossip and the notoriety that comes with it. (3) It was said that Sophie did the work of four different maids herself, so when her stepmom fired her, that left a deficit at their house, and the stepmom began poaching maids from other households, which caused the maid frenzy in the ton. (4) The couple that you don't quite remember are Mr. and Mrs. Mondrich. He was a boxer in season 1; owned a bar in season 2; and their son inherited a title and manor from a distant relative without a male heir in season 3. Now in season 4, Lady Danbury is trying to make Mrs. Mondrich the queen's new lady in waiting.

It’s wild how I feel like I’ve been seeing so much less hype online for this season than previous seasons, meanwhile the Benedict + Sophie romance is BY FAR my favorite out of any of the seasons!!! I frankly have only kept up with Bridgerton this long purely bc of the PMI commentary tracks, but this season I am legit invested in the show!
