Paper faces on parade lookin ass...

Finally, after three (four technically?) seasons of Bridgerton, it is time to appreciate the handsomest boy. Benedict takes center stage to hopefully help us understand why the most eligible bachelor in the whole freakin ton would give up his life as a rake to settle down with, well, anyone!!!

Oh damn wait... that chick in the mask tho! AND THAT TWIST???

Okay yeah, this is gonna be the best season yet.

Regarding adaptations, the general rule is that EVERYTHING outside the core romance of each season is new stuff, since each book is very strongly focused on just that, often barely mentioning the other family members. And yes, that means Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte are totally original additions.

To answer a couple questions though yes the actors for Hyacinth and Gregory are the same from the first season. As of now there aren't any talks to recast them for their seasons and the actress who plays Hyacinth has specifically said that she is excited for her own season. The only reason Francessca's actress was replaced was scheduling conflicts. Also John's cousin Michaela who had the entrance towards the end is being set up as a love interest to Francessca which is why it was treated as a big reveal. At the end of Season 3 we see Francessca being flustered meeting her hinting at a possible attraction. Hope this helps!

as a bisexual guy I was both eagerly excited and sad that we were getting a Benedict season where he would end up with a woman and so presumably we would stop seeing him explore his sexual fluidity but genuinely this has been my favourite season of the show by far I adore Benedict. I adore Eloise. I adore Violet so I am absolutely thriving but I am also a little lost as to why Sophie is still being secretive even after they’ve kissed especially after the initial kiss at the lake but I suppose maybe her fear was what happened at the end of episode four where he’s unable to see her as a wife because of her social status and instead is relegating her to being a mistress
