Ooooh little white Mike…

Almost a decade ago, Pennywise emerged from the sewers to terrorize Mike from Stranger Things, and then returned to do it all over again after he became a man! Andy Muschietti's take on Stephen King’s IT may have been a lot of fun to see in theaters, but do both movies still hold up 27 years later? Okay maybe more like 8 years later.

Before diving into the recent prequel series, I enlisted the help of my favorite scary movie companion Kevin for his first experience with the dancing clown to find out if these movies warrant being almost five fucking hours long in total or if maybe we coulda just skipped em.

Fun fact, when they trick you at the beginning with that actor that looks like Ben, before they reveal the real Ben, that other actor actually played Ben in the Mini Series!

I much prefer one Zohan Rob Zombie as a young New Yorker

I just want to say, I'm brand new to your channel I found you this week because I'm bedridden with COVID. I have already binged A LOT (rewatched the Harry Potter video 3 times already, haha.) Eric, you and everyone you bring on are so ridiculously genuine and funny it makes every video a blast, whether I've seen the content you're watching or not. Thank you to you and your friends for keeping me company as I suffer through this sickness! Also, that fair intro was based on a real event that happened in Stephen King's hometown. He said it haunted him, and he had to write it. A lot of the time, he portrays humans to be just as bad as the monsters he makes, and I love it. It really shows with the racism in Welcome to Derry.

The funniest thing is most of the weird shit in this movie isn’t even from the book 😂
