Wheel of fortune (Patreon)

In May 2018, I found myself at an abandoned concrete plant in Nevada with Roarie Yum, Willa Prescott, Seeka Chavez, and Angie Marie. We had arranged to meet another photographer Charles Nevols, who was shooting with Kayla and Sierra Totten.

We arrived in the afternoon, and Charles were already at it, so I looked around while the models put on copious amounts of sunscreen. 

I loved this big cog-wheel and wanted to do something up there, so I found a pallet and leaned up against the concrete as a makeshift ladder.

And then the Totten sisters joined up, and I had a rare opportunity to shoot a big group.

Lighting is not ideal, but I'm standing on a Concrete pillar I had to jump to so I could move about 1m-3ft sideways, so I just had to make the best of it.

I also made a variant where I had a couple of models in front of the wheel, which worked better, but the lighting was not ideal as they were in full shade.

I love it when fortune smiles at me.
