Sophia the forest nymph (Patreon)
Content
These result from a short trip in a forest with Sophia Blake. To give this a twist, I used an 85mm Lomo Petzval lens ƒ. 2.2 with an odd plane of focus: It's rounded and mostly centered and will create a swirly Bokeh. And while I really do like the look of the first image It is a one-trick-wonder.
Thel lens does that rather well to isolate a subject from a background, especially if you have some specular highlights available.
The apertures are slot apertures, but you want the biggest aperture possible if you want the swirly bokeh, and if you don't, you'd want to use another lens.
The one exception is getting different shaped apertures (think heart, stars, triangles), and the bokeh will take on this shape. I've never used them yet, but I will give those aperture slots a go soon.
