Happy sunday folks. this is an absurd image (pointy shoes in a dirty elevator - and standing on point in an intimate situation). 

None the less, it's hot and it kinda' works.

I dont think too many people will watch the feet, but you are right, it just works. I think it is the lighting that makes this so special.

The more I think about it, the more absurd I realize this photo is, and yet it absolutely works! I don't know exactly what it is, but I'm drawn in and my eye keeps swirling around the frame.

From a technical point of view, it's a combination of the palpable emotion between models and the pattern in the background that makes them stand out. It's hard for the eye to wander, yet you still take in the elevator details, so it's still a place.
