I’ve shot a lot with Rebecca Perry.

And I’ve done that for two reasons. She is a good model, although she has a slightly limited view on how she believes she looks good. Yes, many models have many self-doubts too.

But the most important reason is that she has a Can-Do attitude.

She will do whatever it takes to get the shot, regardless of whether it requires shooting a full day outdoor in the rain or even driving me around so I can better spot locations:

Super positive attitude and always fun discussions.

And it brings me to an interesting point:
When you select a model, are there any defining factors that make one mode take precedent over another?

Please chime in:
What are your priorities (feel free to add):

  • Looks?
  • Capabilities?
  • Charisma?
  • Attitude?
  • Intelligence?
  • Easy to be with?

Having fun while we shoot is essential for me, and especially for longer shoots, I would rather use a less capable model if it is one I know well and I like to spend time with.

I know I’ll get the pictures, but I don’t want to spend days with a primadonna or one who doesn’t WANT to shoot with me but how are only there for the money.
