I was staying in an apartment with massive windows (my favorite), which allowed much daylight in.

The room had a double bed, though, that I had to “dispose of” to make room to shoot which turned out to be challenging.

So I resorted to a shooting where I could: up against the window and the wall next to it.

Two comments on this:

1). I’m sure the call center across the street had a pleasant day at work (if they looked out the window).

2). I’m also sure my Airbnb hosts wind it curious that all the furniture has been moved sightly: I usually take pictures on my phone of the rooms before I start moving anything, but realistically it’s impossible to find the exact positions in the end.

That said, I always pre-clean the apartment and houses and ensure there is no oil on walls and floors or furniture, so I always get excellent Airbnb reviews from the hosts.

Are you telling me that the "secret life" of a photographer is to clean houses? I am half way there already! :-)
