January Monthly Update (Patreon)

February already! Some pretty exciting stuff happened in January, but the next couple months are set to be a lot cooler. Let's dig in!

Songs of the Spellbound Sea: Booooooaaaaaats! Our US/CA shipment has unloaded at the port; I expect it to hit the warehouse (Florida) this week. The boat with everyone else's books on it is bound for the UK; as of last check-in, it's almost to the coast of Spain. Expected to make port in 6 days, then another week or so from there to the warehouse. As far as everything else goes: all our VTT modules are officially in beta, and progress continues on the art book.

Machines of Bone and Blood: Woohoo! Prelaunch page is officially up for book 2, estimated launch this summer. As of today, I have fully reactivated the art pipeline and the team's cranking away. If you haven't signed up for notifications on the prelaunch page, please do! It is very crucial to getting a strong start to the campaign.

Patreon: Lovely growth here. Paid supporters continues to tick up steadily, and free followers recently crossed the 800 mark.

Discord:  A little up-and-down growth, but broadly up. Good discussions in there lately.

Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: No movement here in January, but we might be getting a subclass next month.

Necromancer: Supporters got the Dark Rider subclass! As well as everyone in the Discord, because I accidentally posted it in the wrong channel. Hop yourself over there if you want to see it ;).

Abomination: Quite a bit of movement on this one! Version 0.5 is a major update, reworking the frenzy economy substantially. In addition to that, we got the Nature of the Flame and the Nature of the Slayer added.

Subclasses: Last month's general subclass was the Path of the Ill-Omened barbarian, a cursed and cursemonging barbarian sub. Supporters will get their exclusive a little late, but I'm working on it.

Species: Supporters elected to give everyone an aarakocra rework, and it showed up in the form of the Falkin! Honestly, while it's not a mold-breaking design, I think it's quite solid; I'm pleased with it.

Other Stuff: I've been doing a little coding for a companion project; no ETA on the results of this yet.

Design Notes: This one should be up later today, I hope.

What's going to help us ring in the new year?

Kickstarter: I'm hoping to get to another pass of fixes for the foundry module, and we'll keep cranking away on the art book. And, of course, see the BOATS update above - the first books should be getting into the mail this month!

Polls: Polls are up for one more day, as usual! Our general subclass poll currently has the Hellknight fighter in the lead, but with three subs close on its heels. Our supporter-only poll this month is an SMR-class subclass, with the Necromancer Dragonwraith currently in a 1-vote lead.
