Very excited to talk about this project! This is a joint project between myself and Omega Ankh, which we kicked off about a month ago and have been having a blast with. The aim is to replace all of 5E's worst spells, and to do so in a way that provides a resource for others to build on. All the spells are CC-BY, and nothing about this project will ever be patreon-locked; this one's free for everybody, for sure, no exceptions. Starting with 16 spells, the plan is to cover ~80, and the target list is constantly getting adjusted based on what deserves attention.

Spells That Don't Suck by somanyrobots

This is a collection of new spells for 5th Edition, made as a joint project between somanyrobots & Omega Ankh. They all strive to be balanced and useful, and something you could incorporate at any table. They're all rebalanced versions of existing spells - some in the SRD, some not, and generally all solving problems those spells have.
