Ranger - Shoalstrider Conclave (Patreon)

Defend the coasts and command the tides as a Shoalstrider ranger!

GMBinder

Shoalstrider rangers are guardians, intent on protecting the sea and land both from one another. They wield the power of the tides, striking down their foes and calling up magical waves in battle.

Design-wise: Nothing too wild going on with this one - a straightforward implementation of the concept. Fairly powerful (but situational) flavor feature in Shoal Swimmer, and a straightforward damage steroid in Crashing Tides, with a limited-used knockdown effect. Liminal defenses provides a nice defensive boost, Tides of Destruction is a clean steroid upgrade.  And Tidal Transport gives you some really wild mobility, especially if combined with the dancing wave spell.
