October Progress Report (Patreon)
Content
November's already visible in front of us, so time to check in on how October went!
Patreon: A few more fine folks signed up! We continue to tick steadily upward.
Troubadour: No mechanics changes this month, but some artwork updates. With any luck, it'll be clear of placeholder art and ready for 1.0 next month.
Swashbuckler: No major updates here either - continued art improvement and playtesting.
Bloodrager: Some goodies this month! Finally got around to finishing up the Draconic Bloodline spell lists, and added the Scintillant Bloodline and Meditative DIscipline.
Subclasses: 4/3. The Houndmaster fighter slipped out of the kennel right at the tail end of September, and the Infernal Engine warlock finally made a public appearance after being held up by external factors. We also saw the Bard College of Myth show up, and supporters got to swim with the Shoalstrider ranger conclave.
Species: 0/0.
Other Stuff 1/1: Elysium vol 5 is in progress, though my contributions this go-round are mostly older content.
Spells: Spells That Don't Suck hits v9.0 on the spookiest of days! Also whipped up a few prismatic spells to sit as mostly-sorcerer-exclusives.
Discord: The 250-member celebration concluded! Our raffle winners were bel, Eel, and Smooth Criminal! Eel's commission has already produced new feats for the Thri-Kreen and Aasimar, while the others are still under wraps. The homebrew contest winner was Grimm, with the Oath of Seeking paladin! I'll shout it out again once the prize (artwork to illustrate the brew) has been delivered.
The plan for November:
Troubadour: Development is on pause for awhile, though it should get some more art.
Swashbuckler: The next swashbuckler subclass poll is up!.
Bloodrager: Testing and feedback period, and I'll keep chipping away at the core class features.
Subclasses: The public November subclass poll is live! It's close between the Ironheart sorcerer and Arcane Bulwark fighter, and last-minute votes can absolutely swing it, so go vote!
Species: No promises, we'll see.
Spells: SDS v10.0 is coming at the end of the month, which marks ten official months of working on this gigantic project.
Other stuff: Shhhhhhhh......
Stuff that might get in the way:
I mentioned last month a multi-state move was coming up - well, now I can report that a multi-state move is actively in progress and there's a non-trivial chance I'm packing a box right now. Frankly, it'd be surprising if it doesn't throw some grit in the gears.
