Included in Monthly Downloads for January -March 2026 Patrons Here: DOWNLOADS..........................................................................................Hi Folks,

This month's release was another requested Dino from the Ceratopsidae Group, Late Cretaceous Period. With the requests that come in, I am certainly learning alot (well... way more than I knew before :) It was fun to work on that giant horned head hahaha. As usual, I created two head versions (with and without the eye) and a stand. I have also added an XL/Cut Version that needs to be glue together.Happy Printing -Dan*Please consider tagging @flexifactory/ #flexifactory in your social posts so I can see your amazing prints! AND make sure to share in the private Flexi Factory discord :) Members can join through the settings/apps tab or direct link in pinned post.

Print tips and Info:

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.

I print with .12 or .16 layer height for quality.

As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.

I successfully test printed between 40% and 230% XL for this design.

XL version must be GLUED together with Super Glue. I still suggest no supports, though you may have some "roughness" due to bridging on the underside of the rib bones or toes.

Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List

1st photo is 110% 3MF : Printed in Cookiecad Mermiad and Overture White Rock

2nd photo has 230% XL and 115% Stained STLs: Overture Matte Brown and stained. Video Tutorial HERE

4th photo has 100% and 80% STLs: iSanmate Rainbow and Candy Green/Pink and Ziro Beach for the Stand

5th photo has 90% and 70% STLs: Stand is Eryone Shire

OMG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You for another awesome model

Steven Heck

I added a forth color and it's already on the printer. Thank you so much for the skeli dinos. Of all the things I print, they're my favorite.

Karla Evans

OH the heartache!!! Can't start it for a few days due to travel!! Super excited to get it going once we're settled for a few days, printers are loaded for reasons like this!!!

Jen Massey

😍😍😍 How many ceratopsian models do you have???

Dan

Just the two I believe. I try to hit all the big ones first so Triceratops was pretty early on. I've worked my way through a lot of other kinds of dinos and this one kept coming back as a suggestion:-)

Whenever we make the XXL's, we always also print the base as well, I'm assuming that the XXL is at 230% (that's what it shows in Studio when you check the scale), so I'm assuming that the base should also be done at that size? We always do those in a solid color (usually grey or black, whichever we have more of), and my wife paints them..

Printing one for my wife’s class kids will love it it’s at 105%

Dan

Thank you for the check-up. It was 230% for the XL on my X1C which is the largest plate I currently have. The base would be identical in scale to answer your question. I don't provide it because for most of the XL dinos, it would have to be sliced in half and glued. Not all though :) And it is an easy slice in half in the slicer.

David Hefner

I print the bases on my sv08.. wish I'd have taken pictures of the mosie on its base we did for a show last year, it was huge, lol

Would love to see a photo of the four color model when it's done!!! I just started the three color using Cookiecad Mermaid and Ziro Marble with Black Eyes.

Dan

I bet it was!

Zade

I would love to see skeleton iguanodon

sNp

Thank you for another great dinosaur. I am loving the variety

Adam Jones

Thanks for sharing this with us!! It will be an instant hit in the Flexi Dino Skeleton series!!!!

David Tyers

the XL being on only 2 plates is going to be nowhere near the size of previous dino skeletons

Dan

Two things. This dino is smaller than the triceratops. Also, I am limited by the size of the head as it dictates how large it can be cut.

David Anderson

Need that XL Triceratops to go with the XL Styracosaurus

Hi so I'm new to all this stuff but I have a question, can we sell ur stuff or no

Dan

As an active member you can sell prints of my designs as soon as you fill out the seller authorization form in the pinned post. And you must remain active here monthly or annually.

Flexi panda co.

Where do I find the seller authorization form

Dan

It is included in the zipped file in the download post ;) Just extract all the files and there is also a 3mf colored version there.

Thomas Stapleton-Yabsley

Thank you, just me being silly then I'll find it 🤣 currently printing the xl version for the window display in the shop 😁

Kaye

Would have liked it better if it was printed in sections instead of a whole piece then it wouldn't take a long time to run the while thing as a one

Dan

Luckily there are both options there if you like. I have the cut/glue together version in pieces... usually made for XL versions. But my business model is mostly print-in-place with no supports needed :) Also, the PIP version in single color does not take very much time at all and looks great in gradient pla.

Moose Simpson

Almost done just 2 more XXL's to go

Daniel Orr

Absolutely love all the Dino’s and ice age skeletons. I print them for a natural history museum to sell for their gift shop.

Daniel Orr

A this point, a lot of Dino’s out there will start to look similar. Especially the theropods. I think it would be cool to see a pachycephalosaurus. That would be another unique design. And you have stepped forward to the ice age with the mammoth and the saber tooth. Stepping back to the Permian for a dimetrodon would be another really cool one

Dan

That's exciting! Congratulations :)
