Here is the link to donate and get the file: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/flexi-xxlprint-in-place-skeleton

We're finally ready to launch our first fundraiser, and will be donating 100% of the proceeds to the Foundation School of Autism right here in San Antonio! It's a tuition free, public charter school that provides education for kids 3-7 who are on the Autism spectrum. https://www.foundationschool.net/

My wife and I started this fund after receiving feedback from the community about how the Flexi Factory models were being used as sensory toys all over the world! The sound and textures of the models are helpful in providing focus and relaxation for kids with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Our hope is to use the funds we receive to make and deliver toys, as well as provide monetary donations to designated Children's Schools for Autism, Children's Hospitals and other Child Advocate Support Groups.

I am excited to see the support of the 3D community, in helping me spread some love (and funds) that will contribute to these kids well being and happiness.

When I stared my patreon in March, one of the first models I published was the XXL skeleton. The model got a ton of exposure the last few months but hasn't been available for sale because we wanted to use it to kickstart this fundraiser.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what you guys do with it, so please send me your videos and post your photos.

If you don't want the model and just want to make a donation , I have a paypal link HERE: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=YMN6SWGWTPA6J

Thanks again for your support! Dan and Briana Sopala

I have just joined and this is the first thing I saw. What a wonderful cause! You're a star! Thank you. x

P Perry

Build them with PETG-CF and those things will almost never break.

Charisse Valora Laverdiere

Wow!!! My heart is so full and in awe of you. My grand daughter has Autism and my best friend just found out her son has Autism. You truly are incredible

Jeff Haynes

Good morning, thank you for the important work you do in supporting autism awareness and inclusion—it's truly appreciated. I recently purchased your skeleton model and absolutely love the design. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the file did not include a painted version in .3MF format, which I was really hoping for. Would you happen to have a .3MF version of the painted model available? I’d be very grateful if you could share or point me in the right direction. Thanks again for your time and for creating such meaningful work.

Dan

The model does include a 3mf of the head which has the dark behind the teeth and the eyes. What you might be seeing is the paint which I mentioned in the listing. My wife painted it to look like that. The original model would not have a 3mf other than the face as I mentioned

Jeff Haynes

ah ok, I love the way it looks painted, and would love to do that but I can't paint worth a flip. lol

Melissa

I love it, I added color to mine so it took longer. Wish I could share the picture but it turned out great :)

Dan

Unfortunately patreon doesn't allow photo sharing but you can share on social media or the Discord page:-)

Megan

zerofox3D

Dan

Going to see if I can load another way. Thanks for letting me know

James Schell

Great Cause. Donated. Thank you!

Dan

That's an awesome handle :)

Dan

Darn patreon, can't seem to get the link to work. It's on my facebook page too if anyone want to watch. Just me stuttering through and showing off the models :) Hahahah

Paul Rice

This is awesome! My seven year old is non-verbal autistic (also has Downes Syndrome) and we have spent lots of time at places that provide services for kids with his special needs and many weeks at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We greatly appreciate those who take the time to raise funds for these services and organizations.

Jo

will this just benefit programs in the states or other countries too? i'm just curious as i'm in canada (like i am sure others are in other countries too) and my daughter is autistic

Dr. C.

Just bought it. Great cause and a great model

Dan

This fundraiser is for a specific school, but we are hoping to reach out to other countries for sure! If you have a group in mind, please message me.

Anthony Robison

This is awesome. I've was giving so many articulates away to autistic and children with other challenges. I expanded beyond my friends circle and donated a bunch to charitable groups here in Austin. Just wish I had my Bambu X1C at the time. Would have been so much faster. Lol

Sooprtrukr

I can’t wait for my X1C either. Great work with the donations.

henry

is it different then the other large skeleton ?

Anthony Robison

I've had it a month .. wish I had it over July and August when I printed all the donation ones on 3 printers 24/7. I print the long neck, 3 horn and sharp tooth set at nearly 150% in a day. Verses a day each. The old dragon in 12 hrs at .12 and max size for build plate. Makes filament prices seem a lot more since I go through a roll so fast. Largest print would take me 44 hours before. 18 now at higher quality. I want a 350x350 X1C now.. :)

William Miller

That is awesome 2 of my granchildren are austic one verbal one non-verbal.

Jim Smith

Another reason you are my favorite patreon account.

eric barker

AWWWSOME !!! I'm in ! - every one I can sell will be donated too! Thanks, Dan

Allen Smith

Grabbed the file for $10, and after payday, I'll be revisiting to make a straight donation. Being a member of a child abuse advocacy group, I am fully behind ideas that help children.

William Hargraves

Tammy Werner

It wasn't until I saw what you were fundraising for that I HAD to get this model. I have nephews on the spectrum in San Antonio and know how critical the work that that place does! Thank you for giving your heart to this cause

Jenny Strong

As a preschool special educator -- I am stoked about this! I print so many things from you for my class -- it's the main reason I've subscribed! Thank you for doing this amazing thing, and for creating so many things that help kids succeed in school!

Dan

Yes. This one is very large and in 5 pieces to be glued together.

Dr. C.

Small piece of feedback. Given the way this is put together, would it be possible to put some simple dimples to help ensure proper alignment when gluing the different pieces together? I have my small army of printers going at this print at the moment and noticed the clever construction.

BigDaddy NTN

got it, can't wait to print it

Josh

Purchased and printing now on my kobra max with Duramic glow in the dark filament. Gonna use 3D gloop to put em together. Dan- if you want video or pics let me know. (Not promoting. My insta is JDM4006 and tiktok is JDMraw)

averageone3d

As a behavior analyst I spend a fair amount of my workday with kiddos on the spectrum... I LOVE this fundraiser. You are my favorite Patreon account!!

Dan

I hadn't thought of that. Let me take a look

Jack Apple Creations

As a parent of two autistic children, this fundraiser is something I wholeheartedly support. Will be doing this print for a Halloween giveaway.

Anthony Reuter

Wont be able to get any of these printed before halloween, but just having the files and what the donation goes to is worth it

William Hargraves

just downloaded then from cults3d , biggest i can do is 108% on my little kobra's but getting to it as soon as those wicked pencil toppers finish in about half a hour, very excited

Jamey Hansen

Got files ready to go for my Chiron.... but gonna have to order more filament.... 100, 125, and 190 %

Pat Caton

I have been a Special Ed teacher for children with autism for a lot of years, so I thank you for this fundraiser and your support of kids on the spectrum! Secondly, my son gifted me with a 3D printer last year for Christmas and I have purchased and printed MANY (ok almost all) of your flexi prints. I use them as fidgets at school all the time!

Terry Brown

Jumped in on this! What a wonderful idea!

Creative Spectrum

My daughter was diagnosed when she turned 3, we knew something was up, but when we found out, for that moment our world fell apart... you always want the best for your child so it was very hard. She turned 9 on the 20th and she is who she is, some days are better than others but we love her all the same. I found when I started printing articulated toys for her, they held her attention for much longer than most things. I appreciate your efforts to raise not only funds but awareness in general. Printing one right now at 65% in pink for her, I'm sure she's gonna love it!

Herb Veitenhans

Just supported this. Thank you for the file! What glue are people using to attach the pieces together?

Pia E

My son is on the spectrum so I appreciate what you're doing. Donated and thanks for what you do!

Shayla Anthony

I've got 3 kids with an Autism Dx (take a look at Cerebral Folate Deficiency). Totally in on this! <3

jason martinez

Dan

Dan

What a fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing and also supporting. I hope we can bring awareness with this project ;)

Dan

Brad (RFD3D)

Rosalynda Epley

Just purchased one. Thank you for supporting a cause that is close to our hearts as well. Cant wait to see this one on our printer here at home,,

Clint Vail

yvette

Luke Murphy

Love this. On the spectrum myself and so is my brother. Only the head left now which I have jus started, My Vyper has been going all week. Doing mine 120% with no issue

andrew civic

As someone on the spectrum, you've got a Patreon for life man. This is absolutely awesome and you are a excellent human being for supporting this!

Dan

Awesome bud. Thank you for the support. Really looking forward to doing big things with this fund!

Dan

Amazing. This model does take a loooong time! But so fun once it's done. Hope it all turns out perfect!

Bobette

I am a special education teacher. I really do use your flexi toys for my classroom. I currently have 12 special needs students. 6 of whom are on the spectrum. They love the toys. There have been tears when the hinges break.

Dan

Oh no, I can imagine.
