WINTER IS COMING!...so I made a Yeti.

I have been wanting to create a human like Flexi that has flexible legs and can easily stand on it's own for a long time, and I finally figured it out. YAY!

Just making some finishing touches, and will have it to you in the next couple days.

Thanks again-Dan

Oh my God, it looks great! Can you make a keychain version aswell?

zerofox3D

Hahaha that made me chuckle, excellent!

Amanda Carter

This is AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to print it.

This will be a lot of fun this winter. I do have a request though. I now have a multi-material/color printer and don't have a lot of luck using the "painting" features of the slicer to change colors for models. Is there any way for you to have the model able to be separated into parts that can be easily assigned colors? I'm not even sure I explained it well and have no conception of the work necessary to actually do this but I figured I would ask.

Forrest Ross

Glad you have figured out how to get them to stand. Everyone always wants to astronauts to stand.

oh oh oh, my brother the Yeti hunter is going to go bonkers! love it! Dan, you never cease!

eric barker

I also can’t wait to see how we eventually “deck” this guy out… for sure a 🧢 hat, maybe some sort of armor or spear… or…

Ryleesnet

This is going to be awesome! Thanks for all your hard work! I love everything that you make!

Dan

You explained it well. I haven't taken the leap to purchase a multi color printer, or add on, and I think by owning one is the best way to create for it. once I get a free moment I will do more research. what printer do you have?

Josh Bray

This is awesome.

I can not wait for this

I have a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with AMS. I really love it for single color prints and very limited multi-color so far. I want to expand my multi-color experience. I use Bambu Studio as the slicer and it's based on Prusa Slicer.

Would love to have models like this (and the astronaut) 360 degrees for some resin printing and not have a flat side!!

Being a crypto junky I absolutely love this!

R&B Creations

YES! He needs some disguises so nobody recognizes him lol

R&B Creations

Of course! Everybody knows that!

Zoltan3Design

Please make the hand to be able to hang... It would sell better i;m 100% sure...

Dan

Possibly. But it does change the functionality of the design due to the way it prints. But I will consider the possibility.

Dan

Ah yes. If I ever get to the point where I can hire someone (and I don't really want to do this hahaha) I think they would need to be proficient in Resin. Because there are sooooo many issues that come up with getting these ready, and adding the extra art and time and mechanics sounds a little overwhelming at the moment. But I do agree, it would be very nice to see these 360!

Ooooooo what about a Mrs Yeti and children!!

Tabba

omg- YES- that would be amazing

Is there anything in the works for say Xmas themed or at least not just Halloween themed similar to the skeleton hands? They are amazing for helping ADHD people and keep giving them out. All the small joints make them a great fidget device.

Floo Nasif

I would like to see more animals or cute creatures at some point. I loved dinosaurs!

Dan

I do have some Christmas designs in mind.

Adam Nagus

I gave the skeleton key rings out to a bunch of friends and colleagues and they couldn’t stop playing with them through a three hour workshop. Best fidget gizmo ever

Kyle Baker

I just ordered some Ziro Winter filament to print this in!

Eli Weisman

Patiently waiting for this one!

Nadine A

A hat with can holder on it and straw lol

TheEightBitDad

Carla Schrum

Carla Schrum

Zack Auldridge

That’s what I’m using for it now.
