I have had hundreds of requests for these models, and finally able to provide all three for you awesome folks! Flexi and standing, no supports of course. And for the Pegasus, I decided to go with a very snug fit, but not attached for more customizable options.  Working on making mini's (50%), so I may have some upgrades down the road for optimum printability. Shouldn't need a split version to scale up, but I know some of you love to make them huge!!! And I have the Bambu working non-stop to print up some multi-color, non hand painted versions to show off later. I zipped the painted files for easy access. Thank you to my wife who was able to paint these (while I fixed 3 broken machines :) Here is a list of what she uses to paint and a list of filaments below:

OMG! It's going to be printing here in less than an hour! Outstanding.

Dan

I did see that...after I announced the sneak peak. Interesting coincidence. ;)

Dustie Chase

Mike Wardlow

this is so awesome time to load up the printers!

iAmarice

Can we get all 3 smushed together, Horse with Wings and horn all in one?

Dan

Sounds like an exclusive or bonus down the line?

Nikki Line

oh damn!! triple whammy of awesome

GhostyTV

Thanks a lot for this. it's always fun to print out something with your constructions

GhostyTV

70 hour printing is coming soon. Love it. 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄

Michael Kinsey

Well off to the printer I go! These are awesome

Chris Felix

Am I missing the wings somewhere ?

Hank Houghtaling

Thank you for this! My Grand Niece will be thrilled!

Maureen Nemetski

These are beautiful. If my husband asks, I'm blaming you for the Amazon box of filament arriving tomorrow. 🤣

Katsu's Dojo 3D

These are awesome! My daughter is going to love them! Now we just need an Alicorn to finish off the set! 🤞🏻

MaddAs 3D

Ohhh why isn't it a girl face though?? It's absolutely amazing 🤩 I'm looking forward to making these .

TheArtifactWorkshop

here here! (That's just a winged unicorn, but it also makes it a PRINCESS, so maybe the horn should be longer too!)

TheArtifactWorkshop

I have a 9yo who is taking horse riding lessons, and she is going to be over the moon! Thank you for making the wings separate. I know everyone loves "print in place" but I prefer a little assembly if it gives you more options and/or easier prints. Makes for better model design overall I think. Great stuff as always!

Chris Felix

Nevermind, I was looking for them in the pre colored Bambu files.

Tabba

Those are amazing

Katsu's Dojo 3D

No, it’s a Pegasus with a horn. 😁 But yes, I agree. That one would be awesome with a longer horn!

Jacob Heath

Nice! Are you thinking of doing a closed mouth version as well?

J Maxx

WOW!! I do love these sooo much. The big grins are adorable, thanks Dan 🦄🐴💜

Leika

Sweet!!! Horse and unicorn getting started now. I could totally see a exclusive Skellycorn option!

Randy Gifford

Dan, your designs are totally amazing. You may have outdone yourself with this three-in-one.

Dan

I just made a neutral smiling face ;)

Dan

My style tends to be cartoony. I dabbled with it shut and it just felt boring ;(

Debra

Sweet just what I needed !!!

Usman Naeem

The bambu is doing its thing :)

Herb Veitenhans

I’ll print it and see how it sells. My daughter just told me it looks creepy with the mouth open.

Amber Anderson

Oh my gosh!! I'm so excited!!! We have been asked multiple times for a unicorn! Thank you! :-)

Rhya Hayes

Any chance of a closed mouth version at a later date? My students say the big toothy grin scares them.......but the wings are awesome!

Carol

AHHH Thank you

Carla Schrum

amazing!! love these guyd ty much

Karyl

OMGoodness, Dan... this is Amazing!!

Amy T Barber

Fantastic!! And I just ordered some of that cool filament for a different order. Most of it left. Thank you Dan

Jeremy McClung

I agree, the mouth needs to go. My students are in the same boat.

Brandon Davids

Great Model. I like the mouth but always good to have choices. This is one of the more expensive prints to do, produces lots of waste

MrTracyanne

who cares about the waste when they look this good

Kevin Porter

curious question what waste ? i have none besides the skirt around the model

Mitch Forrest

The waste when printing in multi color using Bambu AMS

Magpulx720

what filament was used for the Crocodile? my wife wants one in those colors.

R&B Creations

My X1C shows up monday! I'm printing Pegasus from hercules! Can I suggest changing the top of the head hair to the mohawk style like he had. That is how I picutr Pegasus hair

Jennifer

hey can you maybe make I version with closed mouth? The teeth/smile are a little bit freaky :D

Todd Coello

I can't open them in Simplify 3D. I get an error.

Dan

The Stls or the 3mf files? Can you send me a screenshot to Flexifactory@gmail.com

Todd Coello

Both and yes I will. I work nights. I'm about to go to sleep. I'm really tired. I'll do it in a few hours.

Todd Coello

I think hold off. I restarted my S3D and said there was an update to 5.1. I did the update and I can open your model now. I just have to do it a little different. I let you know

Hero Electronics

Now that I've printed the pegasus and look it over, it seems rushed my friend. The fixed position head and wings give the impression you got too excited to release it. Along with the smile, which I agree is a bit creepy, if you choose to publish an update, I'd like to suggest a tiltable head and ball and socket where the wings attach.

Thea, just Thea

A horse could go with a knight, some accessories bringing the two together would be awesome. Hint hint! ;^)

Christopher Kirby

I agree with some others, static wings feel blah, would a ball and socket type thing ve possible? That way the wings can move around.

Brandon Davids

Just my luck. 20 hours into the print and my rainbow filament is almost perfectly matching the pegasus's mane color, lol. Too much invested to stop it, but it's painful watching these filament changes for no color change.

Dan

Noooo. That is painful

Brandon Davids

Also had a false spaghetti detection that cost me 7 hours. Who would have thought 3D printing would be so emotionally devastating! lol. Also, I think a few (not all) of the comments are worded a little harshly. You are doing a great job and I appreciate it. I'm sure you have thick skin presenting art to critics but I love the model, his teeth and everything. I guess options and improvement are nice though. Keep up the great work!

Dan

Hello! Reading through the comments and saw your feedback, thank you for your candor. Since I know other's read through the remarks as well, I thought this would be a good place to respond. It's unfortunate that the design seems rushed, as I have been working on it in pieces for a couple months. I actually started with the longer neck and flexible head like the llamacorn. When the wings were added, it felt floppy and very frustrating to navigate the two components. So I went forward with the attached head. My big goal for every design is printability. I want the most people possible to have successful prints. So when I design, this is priority. The fixed head covers alot of printing issues. The angle of the face and neck are specifically placed, again for printability, and to allow for no supports to be used. Changing the angle and dimensions, just a tiny bit causes issues with printing, and likely needs supports. Now for the wings, I actually put so much thought into this and it is a bummer that a ball and socket joint may be preferred. So many folks have single extruding printers, and many on here sell the prints. I wanted the ability to be able to make them interchangeable, but also have a snug enough fit that they don't fly off or break when kiddos play with them. I find the ball and socket joint to be more fragile, less sturdy in the long-haul and they just don't print as well. But it is a mechanism that I have been working to improve, and I can imagine that it will make an appearance when the time is right. Now for the teeth and smile... I just think it's goofy face is funny! Much like a cartoon, I really want to give each of my models character. It's impossible to meet the desires of a worldwide audience, but I sure try and design what I like and hope the love an attention to the work shows with each release. I learn new things each time I put out a model, and these three are no exception. I am certain the feedback I receive, both positive and constructive, will help me grow as a designer. Looking forward to other models, continuing to grow this community and add value for members and fans of my work. -Dan

Dan

I am always a fan of constructive comments, harsh...not so much. But I have a teenager, so thick skin is mandatory. Art is subjective, 3d art is no exception. Thank you for being kind and glad to hear I have another #teamteeth companion, haha. And losing prints is always emotional. I am not sure when or if it will get easier. Like flushing time and money down the toilet.

Corey alexander czimback

could you consider making parts so some people could print them in different colours. like me?

Dan

Yes. The Pegasus has separate wings for that very reason :)

Dan

I would love to make them all interchangeable. I dabbled with a design to fit the knight, and the legs are just a bit too ridged to make it work. But I am still noodling it

Thea, just Thea

Cool! I don't think the knight *needs* to sit on the horse, just have the accoutrements to look like he might think to do so at some point :^)

Thea, just Thea

Sounds like you thought of a lot of options before settling - I think the horse's and knight's smiles blend well! :^D My 5 year old niece will LOVE one of these, I think they're pretty dang fun too and will have one for myself ... Though gotta say a "Pegacorn" would be Awesome, just a second unicorn body that has the wing holes. ;^)

Megan Anderson

New customer and printer this week. You were my first membership. I LOVE this model so much and I’m waiting for my cookiecad filament to come tomorrow to print a unicorn. I do wish the neck were jointed but it’s amazing regardless and I love the teeth!

Dan

The cookiecad is matte, but prints so well. Easily becoming a favorite. Welcome and thank you so much for the positive feedback!

KATHRYN RECHTSTEINER

They're selling silk versions now on their website! There's also a few new colors on there, like clear with rainbow glitter... I just found that out last week lol

Tri C

Used fuzzy skin option. The 🐎 came out nicely.

Dan

Yes. I have had several suggest a skeli horse or armored horse. May show up as an exclusive vote???

Dan

I would love to see the glitter clear printed, waiting for some reviews and pics to post of that one. I have a clear i am going to try, but you will be able to see the inside print lines.

Thea, just Thea

I'd LOVE a second unicorn STL that has the very minor addition of wing holes. Wish I could say I'm into the skeleton stuff, but nope. Armored would be Awesome though.

Dominik Miko

Hello, I really like your models, I like that they all look like children's toys from a cartoon series, could you please add a version with a horn and wings (PegaCorn).

Christopher Kirby

So I've printed 5 of these now, in different forms, and each time the neck area comes out real rough, I even tried with a support for that area, same thing. Any idea ?

Jerry Penna

I think this is a perfect addition to the collection I started to sell. The kids I see buying them will love it.

Hero Electronics

I will not deny your stuff does sell goofy smiles or not. The kids definitely like the fun mugs. (faces) So I think what triggered the comment may have been my association of young teens with horses. I do appreciate the peg style wings for transportation, and that they can be removed after they're inserted. I'm certain you think of all the engineering involved printing your models and I respect your attention to that for sure. Maybe I just expected a structure like the dinosaurs. But I have had some experience with other modeler's separate but ball and socket (I wouldn't unplug it after though. :) )

John Rigirozzi

These are awesome, I can't wait to get them printed up. Thank you for all your hard work.

Dan

Which part of the neck? You can send pics to flexifactory@gmail.com for help

Dan

I have been told it is an Alicorn? I just added it to the new post

Lisa Crane

Just finished printing the pegasus and the legs were not moveable at all. I printed the unicorn the other day and that model was fine but on the pegasus the legs were locked in place. I tried moving them to loosen them up and ending up snapping right off. Same filament and same settings as the unicorn that printed fine. Was there an update to the pegasus?

Dan

No updated regarding the legs. If you want to send photos to flexifactory@gmail.com, I can help you troubleshoot.

Lisa Crane

Never mind, my fault. I apparently has a slight layer shif and didn't notice right away.

Dan

Ah yes. They sneak in from time to time. Hopefully no more issues on the prints!

Michael Gleason

I am having a little issue on the horn on the ali corn. Everything prints right but then the horn is is messed up. Got any tips?

Dan

What are your settings? And is it a different material? Also, you can share photos and troubleshoot on the private discord if you are not already a member there. Just connect through your settings tab. Very helpful group that responds alot faster than this feed ;)

Dan
