3MF Files Updated (Patreon)

As many of you know, my older files were not designed for easy painting if you own a Prusa or Bambu machine that allows for AMS and colored prints.   I have been slowly working on getting these completed and making sure they print correctly. If you have previously purchased or received the files as part of membership.  GO BACK to the original source of download and snag the new files if you want them :) They will be free, so no need to pay again! I have them on MMF and Cults3d. If you are an Etsy buyer, DM me here on Patreon and I will send you a link through MMF. Etsy doesn't have the size capability to add these :( And if you haven't purchased any of my older public models, members get 40% off through MMF. Check the 40% off post  for details. I will be adding Flexi Factory TV videos of how these print on social media. So quick question for those that have the bamboo printer... is it worth the money? Pros? Cons? I'm looking into getting one...

I have both the X1C and the P1P, and I love both of them! I have the multi color AMS connected to the X1C, and use my P1P for single color prints or one offs or test prints that I need while the other printer is in use. Especially now while the P1P is on sale, I couldn't justify not buying one!

Also, I started with an Ender, and spent half of my time trying to get it level, or to get my prints consistent. The bambu seems to like to level itself. I occasionally have problems if I need to clean the plate and haven't (it's very obvious!), or with certain filaments that don't want to adhere, but otherwise my biggest problems are with my old laptop not wanting to run the bambu software!

I didn't notice until today, MMF doesn't put all of my stuff together in my library. I have to go back to the original order to find links to the download, It seems like such a half-baked feature on the web site, and it bugs my ocd.

I understand completely. That is why I now offer a Tribes Membership on MMF. Same cost and offerings. Patreon does not allow for file archiving and large amounts of files. So I have to move them over each month. But, I always provide the files here, and they can be stored locally on your computer. And the redeem option is a fail safe in case you lose your file :)

I update the STL files periodically, and you can always go back to the site you purchased from, or opt in to emails to get updates.

It's a shame that the price of filament is beginning to out weigh the profit margin of the models printed with them. $35.00 for a roll of PLA is insane. JMHO, buts it is still JUST PLA.

The price of PLA is steadily going waaaay down, I haven't paid more then 16$ for the last 40+ rolls I ordered, just buy direct from the companies not amazon unless they have good deals and stop buying from incredibly overpriced rolls. I bought great silk eryone rainbow rolls for less than 14$ before. But if you're profit margins are in the red even with 50$ filament your prices are far too low lol Dudv2 is another website that runs constant deals on unique filaments that print very well imo

I would like that for my place, im still trying out some local manufactured filaments, and found inconsistencies average in the firts 10m of the rolls, or last 10m of the extrusion.. But well, this expand the local industry..

They are identical in price and offerings. The community is smaller there, so less "conversation." But it is streamlined and a great platform for folks who want more of a one stop shop as the files go automatically into the folder system. Here, you get to download and store locally. Either works for me :) Just as long as you stick around and still like my designs!

I sure am. I have colored a few and will be adding them here on Patreon and also on the MMF tribes. Trying not to inundate everyone with the colored files, which is really just an added feature. Not everyone loves them, but I think they are a great alternative for folks who own the machines. Marketing is a necessary evil of any business I am afraid, haha.

why can i not find the original post with the turtle? new to patreon.

There was no original post. This was an older public model from before I started patreon. I began this membership over a year after I started creating designs and was asked for rights to sell. So I created the patreon as a solution :) Most folks had already bought these from Cults3d or MMF at that time...and after the ams option was released, I was finally able to offer it painted.

I visited my MMF orders to download the colored files from my previous purchases, but could not find colored files. I'm sure I'm simply missing it but I would love a little further instruction on finding those files. Thank you.

Hi there. I only colored the ones in this post. I think I messaged you the link from your order...but if you go the the order with the specific item, like the turtle...you should see the 3mf file in there.

The turtle was an older public model as I mentioned in this post :) I made several models before patreon was offered and sold them on Cults3d and MMF...they are still there for purchase. For patreons, I offer the 40% off code and now the 3mf file is included! Hope this clears up any confusion.

I did not make keyring version of many of my designs, as they become more delicate when printed small. This one would have delicate flippers :) It is however, a modification that is allowed by members. So you are welcome to add it for your needs.

The caterpillar, did you change it? I swear in my original prints, he had headphones and a walkman. I can't be imagining this? Mine is at work on my desk, so I can't just go look, and I can't find my original downloaded file.

The original caterpillar was sold to the public but the one that you were talking about was an exclusive for members. So if you have that one that is a special file that's not available anymore. Of course it is still available in your archive if you received it way back when

I did, and I love it, but I think that file died with my husband's old computer. :(
