Rockett-Rex

He looks fun to do, thanks pal

John Brown

Thank you! Awesome Print!

LYNSEY BOATMAN

You are, by far, my favorite Patreon to follow. So organized, so attentive, and really makes it worth our memberships! Thank you.

Randy Gifford

I love the flying pig. Could we possibly also get a version without wings?

James

I second this

john moore

I was thinking of suggesting this very thing, being that I'm from Cincinnati, OH, home of the flying pig marathon.

Ivan Teixeira

This is amazing 😁 Will you think about doing a piggy bank version?

Dan

Possibly down the line.

Dan

Going to note it here and hope everyone will see it. The pig was an exclusive a couple months back. So there will not just be a pig. At the time, a bank and flying version was suggestion. So I made it a bonus model for members only :)

John Beima

This brings new meaning to "When Pigs Fly"... lol Man you make me laugh!

Greeneyes

Im struggling to get the wings fitted…. X

Dan

They slightly twist in. What were your settings?

Sean Dillon

where is the download folder? I would like the model but cant find it.

Greeneyes

I used the 3mf file and changed the settings to what you said, 3 walls, 15% infill and 0.16 layer height. After I printed the pig I just transferred the settings to the wings….

Dan

Sorry. I am in the system now making changes for the new month. See post above with all the bonus files including the pig. I now have a collections tab that I will add files to for easy download.

Sean Dillon

A+ on response time! I found the file, thank you very much.

Taylor

what is the trick to making it balance?

Dan

It balances on two front feet. Getting it on it's back was trickier. The wings have to be in the correct position and pull the feet in close (kida pinch them in).

David Long

Thank you so much for the piggy. I just finished him at 190% Well I was done. For some reason prusa slicer changed the wings to 170% I know I put 190. It was acting weird when I changed them to 190. Clicked the other and put 190. Clicked back and the original was 215. Ugh lol.

Dan

Oh no. they definitely have to be the same to fit :(

Zalan Havasi

Any chance of getting a stand made to help balance it? It is very front heavy

Dan

Possibly :) also try moving the wings back a bit. should help with balance if you are having issues getting it to stand.

Chantal

I was wondering if the wing joints on your Pegasus model can be updated like the pig's ball joints. I like the fact that you can adjust the angle of the wings. Is it in the works?

Dan

I had not planned to. It was so many models and versions it will take weeks I'm afraid.

Barbara Stallcup

I'm having the same problem. Did you get yours to fit?

Chantal

Fair enough. I had to ask. :) Looking forward to the next design!

matthew glavin

I have a strange question is there a way you can make one here i can tie a string and hang it from the ceiling thats balanced?

Dan

Not a strange question at all :) I do allow a loop to be added for hanging as part of the modifications for members. I started allowing that so i can spend the extra time working on new models :)

Veronica E

Is there a trick to getting the wings to stay in the socket? I don't feel that I can give somebody one if I can't even get the wings to stay in place.

Dan

You can message me to troubleshoot in more depth...but I assume they are being printed at the same size as the pig? Also, I use 15 percent infill,3 walls and .12 layer height as general settings.

Veronica E

I have a habit of bumping things up to 20%. That could be why?
