Reference images - week 12 (Patreon)
Content
Good morning everyone! 🤗
It's finally sunny outside and getting warmer here in the Netherlands... and it's almost July already! Hopefully, we will get a really nice summer from now on! ☀️
For this week's references, I chose three very random pictures. They all inspired me so much to draw, as you could see on my Instagram this weekend. I already started drawing the lighthouse, because I really couldn't wait! What they have in common is that they're all set in the middle of nature. I also feel that in these images, the buildings are integrated into nature with their appearance.
Hopefully, you feel as inspired as I do, looking at these photos! 🤗
Final illustrations week 11
I truly loved the Lonely houses references by Sejkko last week! I drew them all in one spread and think they look beautifully together!
I tried to keep it as simple as possible with these houses. And this time I used my dark indigo pencil again for shades! In my previous drawing, I mostly used my dark brown pencil for shading, but I think in these images it provides more depth to the illustrations.
I am also really curious about which one of these images you liked the most!
If you want to start, but don't know how and what materials to use. You can visit the first blog post about all my favourite go-to materials.
