Croatia - Autumn (September, references week 39) (Patreon)

Good morning everyone!! 🤗🍁

It's the last week of drawing Croatia already! I hope you had as much fun drawing Croatia as I did! I loved the colors, architecture, and the many waterfalls and lakes. What was your favorite reference this month?

I also can't believe summer is over! I am such a big fan of the nice, warm weather and being able to stay up late outside with friends and family and eat lots of ice cream! But I also like that the cosy season is coming around! The stay-ins with candlelights, picking up chestnuts, seeing the trees turn into all these beautiful autumn colors! I can also do many things in my house now, like watching movies, rearranging my furniture, and hanging up those shelves I had in mind forever!

Because autumn started two days ago, I thought it would be nice to have some references to Croatia in Autumn vibes. I will also make a video tutorial of one of these references this week! I want to show you how I draw a waterfall because I know this is one of the hardest subjects to draw!

A lot of rocks last week! I made a spread with all 3 references, and I am so happy how they came together! I tried to use more yellow (light ocre) this time in the first and last references. 🥰

These are the base colors I used for all references:

Tombow 126 (Light olive)

Tombow 133 (Chartreuse, Light green)

Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)
