Hi everyone!

Over the past week, we've made some serious progress toward completing the core work on the next Tame It Too! update. There's only a little left to do before we can move on to testing!

Right now, we're mostly tying up loose ends and trying to wrap up as many outstanding tasks as possible. At the same time, we're continuing to work on the biggest mini-game in this release.

But let's take a closer look at everything we've been up to!

Quests & Dialogue

Most of the quests and dialogues are already in the game! Just two quests left to finish, and the story content for the update will be complete.

We've fleshed out the chapter's ending in greater detail, then made some adjustments to the questline for freeing Cat. One of the central quests in this update, which revolves around breeding, has also received a major overhaul. Since breeding is finally becoming part of the main story, we've given this questline extra attention to ensure that all the story elements flow naturally into one another and lead smoothly into the new gameplay.

In addition to the quest dialogues, we've written a tutorial for the breeding mechanics, since the sandbox mode only provides general hints about the process when you first get started.

Minigame

We've made great progress on the new minigame, which is designed to complement the breeding process and make it more engaging. It will also give you additional ways to customize girls of future generations, as successfully completing this minigame will let you influence their genes.

Almost all the assets for the minigame are now ready, the track's main terrain is in place, and we've added effects for the damage you take while playing.

Language Learning in the Northern Valley

We've added several word scrolls to the new area, along with words for all the stone steles placed there earlier. The steles now have the obstacles we originally planned for them: some are blocked by copper-bearing rocks, while others are covered in vines that can easily be chopped down with an axe.

You'll also be able to discover plenty of new words in the temple library, where there's quite a lot to learn!

Lava & Geyser Biome Improvements

We've continued refining the new lava and geyser biomes in detail. We've added steam effects, along with Lee's reactions to being burned by lava and scalded by hot geyser water. We've also improved the small new lake in this area.

Steam Demo

The new Steam demo for Tame It Too! is almost completely ready. All that's left is to put it through thorough testing, after which it'll be available on the game's Steam page.

Steam Achievements

With the game's Early Access release getting closer, we've come up with a whole list of fun new achievements for you to unlock on Steam as you play. The first few achievements have already been illustrated, but there are plenty more to come. For now, just take a look at how adorable they're turning out!

New Sounds

Work on the game's sound design continues. We've added new sounds for the biomes and Lee's various states, as well as sound effects for fishing and the fight against a new enemy. Next up are the sounds and music for the minigame!

Progress Card

As an experiment, we've created a Progress Card with approximate figures, since we're already wrapping up work on the upcoming update. If you like this format, we'll try to publish these cards regularly whenever possible, with figures that more accurately reflect our current progress. However, keep in mind that the numbers will always be estimates, as the game has a huge amount of different elements, and we work on them at different paces, constantly switching between tasks.

We'd love to hear what you think about this format! Is the information clear enough? Are there any important stages of development that we've missed? Don't hesitate to share your thoughts with us!

Thank you all so much for your support, dear friends! We're happy to have you with us, asking questions, reporting bugs and issues, and sharing your ideas for improving the game. All of this means a lot to us!

The update is coming very soon, so stay tuned and don't miss a thing!

Have a fantastic week and stay awesome!

HI, Any Idea when pregancy / breeding will be in the game? Like not only the seprate mode?

Manka Games

Hi! Breeding will be added to the storyline in the nearest update!

Love to see the update progress chart each week.

English (Translated by an AI): Here is a short list containing a few suggestions and some offbeat ideas: I’ve been taking a closer look at the current version of TameItToo recently, and I’ve noticed a few areas where you might want to make some adjustments to further improve the game. One thing that would enhance the "quality of life" is a way to sort materials within chests and the inventory. It gets quite messy when everything is just thrown in together. I see two potential solutions—which could even coexist: 1. A button that, when pressed, automatically sorts the contents by type. 2. And this is something I’d find particularly appealing: having the girls assigned to "housekeeping" handle the sorting, complete with a dedicated animation. For instance, a girl could be shown leaning over an open chest, rummaging through it—perhaps even muttering under her breath about who left such a mess in the first place! As a bonus, you could even incorporate a "breeding pose" into this animation. Regarding storage, another great feature would be to have the girls assigned to housekeeping also manage a central "distribution point." This would allow access to all the chests in the village from one single location—much like industrial logistics, where individual workers don’t have to search the entire warehouse for every single screw; instead, a designated manager handles the distribution. You could design a specific building for this—similar to Meadow’s forge—where the storage capacity could be expanded by adding new or upgraded chests, and where one of the girls could be assigned to act as the manager. Furthermore, it would be great to have an attack key for combat in the 3D world—outside of the "catfights"—that allows Lee to automatically target and strike the nearest enemy. This is especially important when facing spiders; once there are a certain number of them, it becomes difficult to click on an individual spider as a target without accidentally picking up all the nearby loot instead—a mishap that often leads to Lee’s premature demise. If possible, please revisit the animation for when Lee swings his axe. The way he fells trees—holding the axe in one hand with a casual, hip-swaying motion—looks simply embarrassing. No one who is serious about chopping down a tree swings an axe like that; it’s the kind of ridiculous nonsense you’d see from TikTok posers or "lumberjack" influencers—who, naturally, always edit out the parts where they end up hacking into their own legs. It would also be very helpful to have a way to place objects inside buildings more freely, rather than having to maneuver Lee around and struggle to get items into the desired spot. For instance, it would be ideal if we could lock Lee’s position with a key press and then move objects around using the cursor. Adding an option to snap objects to a grid—also via a key press—would be a great improvement as well. Finally, both for village life and the breeding aspect, it would be a nice addition to have a bathhouse or a bathing area—similar to Octa’s pond—that serves both for hygiene and relaxation (complete with lounge chairs and parasols) and as a space for erotic encounters. Another improvement would be to add an inventory to fire pits, allowing us to move fuel into them in stacks. The fire pits should also account for the quality of the fuel—wood burns longer than bamboo, and if you were to introduce items like charcoal or coal, those would burn even better than wood. Something missing from almost every survival game is a toilet. You could implement this either as a purely decorative structure or as a functional one, where the waste could be used as fertilizer for farming. Regarding Octa and her potential inclusion in the breeding system: while she might not be able to produce offspring—other than the one known from the comic—she could perhaps serve as a midwife for an egg. With the addition of geysers in the Northern Territory, for instance, Octa could have a cave there that is warm enough to incubate an egg in a nest surrounded by water. Naturally, in addition to the traits that make her unique, Octa would need to possess specific, inheritable characteristics—traits that wouldn't prevent the offspring from living on land. Another important quality-of-life improvement would be ensuring that when structures are demolished, the materials go directly into the player's inventory instead of dropping onto the ground. This might not be a big deal for individual building components, but it becomes quite tedious when tearing down larger structures—having to press the "pick up" key for every single item is frustrating. Hopefully, the inclusion of an auto-loot feature will resolve this. As for the girls' activities during sex, I believe there is still room for improvement there as well. Octa has turned out quite well in the scenes available so far, especially since you’ve started having her use her tentacles more actively. You might want to consider a similar approach for the other girls—with the exception of Bunny, they all have tails that could be put to use. Lily and Meadow, for instance, could use the tuft at the end of their tails to caress Lee, or use the tail itself as a third arm—much like Octa does—to hold onto him. The same could apply to Cat. Looking at her character development, Mana seems likely to be the type who craves a lot of affection. Much like foxes in the wild, she could use her tail as a cozy blanket—both while sleeping and during sex with Lee. Bunny, with her little stubby tail, might be at a disadvantage here, but perhaps you could come up with something involving her ears instead? You could also add an activity where each girl sleeps in bed with Lee, with her own unique sleeping pose—one that incorporates her tail. This would add a nice touch of "life simulation" beyond just the sexual encounters. In general, you might want to pay a bit more attention to the unique appendages that distinguish these girls from humans—features that could serve as additional erogenous zones or even as functional tools. For example, could Bunny, Lily, and Meadow have sensitive horns—perhaps being both erotically responsive and ticklish? Overall, you should make the girls' activities in the 3D world more dynamic. Instead of them simply vanishing from the scene whenever they’re performing a task, these actions should actually be animated—for instance, seeing a girl wander around while picking berries from bushes, sitting by the shore with a fishing rod, working in the fields or the mines, or being busy inside a crafting building. You could even watch Octa in the water as she catches fish or harvests seaweed. In short, rather than just having these activities represented as abstract tasks on a notice board, it would be great to actually see them taking place. It wouldn’t necessarily need to be possible to interact with them—or, if it is, they could simply brush you off with a "Not now, I’m busy." Your new panel with the graphical progress indicator for the upcoming update is a pretty good idea, but I’d venture to guess that what most of your fans are really interested in is: what is the overall status of TameItToo? Well, those are just a few ideas—some perhaps a bit wild, and likely mostly unfeasible—but they’re things I’d love to see. Otherwise, keep up the great work; I’m looking forward to the next update!

Manka Games

That's quite a "short" list, haha! I'll try not to miss anything. Regarding chest sorting, Tier 2 chests now have labels, and Tier 3 chests might get sorting functionality. We'll see! The girls will get chest interaction animations in an upcoming release, but if they start rearranging items instead of the player, that could upset players who care about keeping their own inventory order. Our building and crafting systems should already allow you to use resources from all the chests in the village, but we'll give the idea of a sorting station some thought. Overall, we don't want village life to turn into an economic simulator, but useful buildings are always welcome! :) I've added an attack button to the plans, and we'll look into it. In theory, the auto-action feature (Spacebar) might help with this, but its priority might favor looting over attacking enemies. I'll check how it currently works. We'll revisit the tree-chopping animation. Unfortunately, the changes won't make it into the upcoming update, but it's a good suggestion, and I've added it to our plans. Players occasionally suggest adding a separate third-person camera for building. Personally, I'd first like to add more decorations and useful items for furnishing both the interior and exterior of the village. After that, we can work on making placement more convenient. Right now, the rooms are basically empty, and there isn't much to put in them apart from a couple of items. :) A bathhouse area and toilets are on our list of planned features. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to surprise you with some interesting solutions! Wood is already several times more efficient than bamboo as fuel. Charcoal was on our plans, but it looks like it won't make it into the main game. However, I've been thinking about improving the campfire interface. We recently added an interface for the furnace, and we might introduce something similar for campfires, letting you not only see how much fuel you've added but also queue up meat for roasting. Adding Octa as a broodmother — including her DNA and the ability to customize offspring influenced by her genes — would account for about half the work needed to integrate her into the breeding system. I'd really love to make that happen, along with all the other mechanics needed for her reproduction. Auto-looting resources in the upcoming release should at least make dismantling structures less tedious. We'll keep an eye on how it works and may make further improvements in this area. As for the girls using their tails during scenes, that's an interesting idea! We'll give it some thought. And having the girls sleep in the same bed as Lee is already on our list of planned features. That's also one of the reasons his bed is a double bed! :) The girls' daily activities are specifically designed to make their work and leisure visible in the game world. If a girl takes a tree-chopping task, you can find her in the forest by a tree. If she's fishing, she'll be on one of the beaches. If she's relaxing, she'll be under a tree or on a sun lounger. However, how convenient it'll be to find the girls and catch up with them or assign them tasks is still an open question. We may end up having to solve some problems we've created for ourselves by making the world so realistic! I understand why you'd want to see the overall state of the game's development, and many of our Patrons feel the same way. But this also makes me think we might need a public roadmap, and I'm not a huge fan of that idea because it means making certain promises, haha. Still, we're not changing course, and we might present a roadmap in some form — perhaps when the game enters Early Access. We'll see! For now, I'd like to get the format of our current progress reports sorted out first, as some Patrons have raised concerns about them. — Asmodeev
