UPDATE: VTT tokens and music (Patreon)

I have two fun things I want to update you all on!

VTT Tokens

Several of you requested tokens for your VTT games, so here they are! Attached below are tokens for all the monsters and characters for which I have commissioned original artwork. All of these pieces were drawn by Dave Guy for my 2023 projects.

Of course, my posts contain many more monsters and NPCs than these, but these are the only ones with their own artwork. As time goes on and I commission more pieces, however, our library of tokens will expand, so now on every post that has original artwork I will also attach premade tokens.

I tried a lot of different online token generators, before finally settling on The Fateful Force VTT Token Maker, since it compressed the image quality the least out of the many others I tested. The images still aren't high definition, since they're meant to appear as small tokens on a map, but these should look a bit better if your players zoom in.

Music

I've been chatting to a creator who goes by Nerdius Maximus Studios. They compose and record musical soundscapes for TTRPG games, posting the tracks on their Patreon.

We recently agreed to collaborate on a project together, the result of which will be a bundle of ambient and musical pieces that can accompany one of my adventures. This means that, along with the PDF, maps, and tokens, you'll be able to download a music pack specifically tailored for a new Tales Arcane adventure.

Our collab project is still a few months off - we're looking at August 1st for the release — but in the meantime, they gave me this link with three sample tracks to share with you folks. Feel free to download and use these in your games if you have a forest, dungeon, or battle coming up.
