Hello, after I downloaded your MOD, I opened the Resident Evil 2. Load MOD while the game is running and it prompts "lnjection failed when performing: Writing dll filename into memory allocated in host processThe following error occurred: 操作成功完成。 " I would like to ask what is the reason why I cannot use MOD.Thank you very much!

Otis_Inf

Unpack the zip in a folder you have write access to, like a folder in my documents. then run the exe from there.

Otis_Inf

I uploaded the older camera, all fixed now

What should I do if everything is an error?

1959309747

Can you give me a zip package of v1.00 or v1.01

Otis_Inf

My tools work with the latest official version, so if you have that version from steam, the tools should work fine. If not, you might not use the latest version from steam

Ok, I see where the problem is

Otis_Inf

Nope, sorry, only latest game with latest tools.

Sparda10

I am using the latest RE2R version with the dx11_non-rt mode on beta settings but for some reason versions 1.03 and 1.04 dont work, I get the notifications that the dll has been injected and the process has been initiated but no matter which hotkey I press none of the options activate.... Tried with version 1.02 but it crashes as soon as the dll is injected

Otis_Inf

I can't have two game versions installed at the same time so I decided to pick the latest version and that's the dx12 version. For that version the tools work.

Hi, is this and Residen Evil 3 version supposed to work with game pass version or am i doing something wrong while enabling them?

Otis_Inf

At the top of the page it clearly states "Steam", so not with gamepass versions

buğra sarıaltun

APT requiem page also clearly states "steam" at the top of the page but also works with gamepass, i was just asking mate

Otis_Inf

that's luck that it works with that game. In some cases it works with gamepass, but often they wrap the exe in UWP or the exe is different and the patterns won't match. So if it works on gamepass: great, if it doesn't... too bad. I can't fix it (as I can't buy all games on all platforms... )

buğra sarıaltun

wasn't asked that for a possible fix i wanted to be sure before buy them on steam thats all. Thanks for a fast response and effort for the tools, appreciated

Speedysatoshi

do you have any version that works for DX11 non RT?

Hi, is there any way to rotate the character independently from the position of camera? Now it seems that the character always looks away from the camera after moving her, and I cant independently rotate her while controlling the camera.

Otis_Inf

That's the game doing any updates to the character, I think the only workaround for this is to pause the game...

Matteo Cipone

I noticed that when I try to get a shot with the character in this case Leon he always turns away from the camera. Is there any way to prevent this? I think I must be missing something, because I never had this happen on the other RE games using your tools.

Otis_Inf

I haven’t been able to block that in the game, it sadly requires you to paise the game using the pause mechanism in the tools

Daniel Cônsolo

You read my mind LOL When you posted the Re3 one I thought “I should ask if there’s a way to do it in re2 too”

Euby Gaming

Haha, i was thinking the same, but figured he may be busy with other things, so I was gonna leave it until after the weekend to see if he was gonna post an update. Glad I can jump in this weekend and take some photos! This, RE3 and finally FFVIIR coming to steam will keep me busy this weekend lol

Pauli

The v102 RE 2 camera tools no longer work with the dx11 non-rtx beta Steam version, which is the only way to play the old version of the game for me. Has anyone else tried it? For RE 3 the old camera mod still worked with the beta version but not for RE 2 for me. Only reason I care is that the old version has all the mods :D I am only a tier 1 supporter so I don't expect anything, but if you ever get the time to check it and possibly update it then I would be very thankful. :)

Pauli

Oh and uhh, I don't know if this is worth mentioning, but I tested the RE3 v105 camera tools with the current dx11 non-rtx steam beta version of RE3, and even though the camera tools themselves seem to work, as soon as they are on (after pressing insert) it blocks me from taking a screenshot. (as in I can't use steam overlay or screenshot programs to save screenshots while the camera is active for some reason, I think it blocks the key inputs for them) Since these problems only concern the old non-rtx versions and the steam beta versions Capcom released I don't know if anyone else is interested or if its worth the trouble to look into it.

Otis_Inf

I'm not going to update the camera for the 'older' version that's not working anymore either apparently. Tho it sucks capcom pulls this stunt... sounds like the disaster square enix did with the ROTTR/SOTTR games, where their rtx update was terrible and they had to roll back to an older build which was a newer build than the last one they had on steam so nothing worked :D Taking a shot using other systems than reshade likely requires you to press a key other than printscreen. When you have as camera device selected 'both' (default) or 'kb/mouse' on the configuration tab of the tools' client, the kb input to the game is blocked when the camera is active. Choosing gamepad (if you have a controller) or pressing Numpad . will enable kb input to the game when the camera is active.

Pauli

Oh, thank you very much! You were right I just had to enable the kb inputs by pressing Numpad , for the RE 3 version. Sorry for the trouble. :) Shame about RE 2:s older version but I understand completely. And yeah the whole replace a game with a new version is especially troublesome for people who like modding games. EDIT: I found a mod that is not as good as your camera tools but gets the job done for old RE 2 version called REFramework if anyone else has the same problem. I am sorry for taking so much of your time, I have no problems whatsoever again. :D

srg18

any way to disable the sharpening during gameplay as well?

Otis_Inf

not at the moment, I need to make a toggle for it

Hello, the author, after I downloaded your MOD, I opened the biochemical Evil double plate. Load MOD while the game is running and it prompts the camera DILL, camera, camera system, etc., not available. I would like to ask what is the reason why I cannot use MOD. Or could you please give me a tutorial? About how to install and use this MOD. Thank you very much

Otis_Inf

What is Biochemical Evil Double Plate? The tools don't work with the Japanese version of RE2, in case you have that

Raymond Li

Oh sorry I means that resident evil 2. I downloaded it in the Hong Kong area of steam, and then it is an English version
