New Video! THE MONKEY Movie Review (Patreon)

New video is finished! In this review, the Maniacal Cinephile breaks down THE MONKEY (2025), the latest horror comedy from writer-director Osgood Perkins, based on Stephen King’s short story.

Twin brothers Hal and Bill stumble upon a cursed wind-up toy monkey that triggers hilariously absurd and gruesome deaths whenever it plays its tiny drum. Starring Theo James, Elijah Wood, and Tatiana Maslany, this film delivers a laugh-out-loud, over-the-top, and completely unhinged take on the classic killer toy trope. Do you have a favorite killer toy movie?
