I am in constant need of more Twin Peaks and am saddened to know it will soon be over

A bit of trivia: when Sheley and Bobby's daughter (Becky?) went out to shoot her cheating, no-good boyfriend (Steven?), the girl he was out cheating with was the little sister of Donna Hayward (the character and the actor). She didn't show up much in the original series. but she featured prominently in one episode: when the Palmer parents visited the Heyward house for dinner. She was the little red-haired kid (in a fairy costume IIRC) who gave a litle impromptu piano recital. I think she also played over the closing credits. I don't think it's a coincidence that ep 11 closes with footage of the guy playing piano in that restaurant.

Billy and Richard. Tina and Mary. Chuck, and Charles. So many names. So few episodes. Also, the woman with Steven, is Gersten. Gersten was the little girl we saw in the old show, Donna's little sister, who played piano in the pink dress

Also, not really trivia but just in case anyone hasn't heard: the actress who plays Norma Jennings (owner of the Double R Diner and Shelly's boss) is Peggy Lipton, mother of Rashida Jones (from The Office among other things). I think Peggy Lipton was actually married to Quincy Jones around the time the original show was shot. Also, the actor who plays Dr Jacobi/Dr Amp is Russ Tamblyn, father of the actress Amber Tamblyn. I guess while I'm at it: the bigger of the Mitchum brothers (the one who had the dream), was played by Jim Belushi -- the less famous but more ubiquitous younger brother of SNL original John Belushi. I rolled my eyes the first time I saw he was in this, but in the end I think he's perfect for the part. That campy part of Twin Peaks is more surreal in The Return, but it's still there.

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

The "dirty, bearded men in a room" comment with the 4th wall breaking stare was a joke about YouTube media commentary.

Three of Gordon Cole's best lines are in these two episodes: "He's dead!" "The policeman's dream!", and best of all: "She didn't get it either."

William Davis

The scene with the lady screaming in the car is somehow one of the greatest scenes ever to me. Just a perfect dose of hilarious and horrifying surrealism.

The man who plays the piano at the end of episode 11 is Angelo Badalamenti, he‘s the composer for twin peaks and Lynch‘s films in general. In my opinion the most underrated composer of all time! I can highly recommend the short YouTube Video where Badalamenti explains the process behind creating laura palmers theme, it‘s a beautiful insight into the mind of a music genius!

i like that david lynch is so involved in this series as an actor, in addition to writing, producing and directing.
