MONOGATARI MENTIONED!

+1 for Mirror's Edge along with the soundtrack it had superb visuals, interior designs, color palette etc.

Roque Orellana

YES! the score in this is amazing, also the song selection deserves alot of credit as well. Mac Quayle is one of my favorite composers of recent. Might recognize his work from The last of us Part II, he worked along with Gustavo Santaolalla.

God the withdrawal in the middle of ep 4 is so real it hurts, their depiction is real as hell. Opiates are the best and worst drug ever.

Kara

Great reactions. The soundtrack is composed by Mac Quayle, he scores all 4 seasons so it's really consistent throughout. All volumes are on Spotify but I wouldn't listen yet in case the song titles have spoilers (I can't recall).

Nate

Your mic is making some weird noises for episode 3 :(

Ep 4 gave me an edgier Twin Peaks vibe. That was really well done!

Losin it to your reactions to Ep3's soundtrack -"now this corny music is playin'. Nah, this song's cool! But Elliot need to cut the BS" LOL! Ep3's cinematography -shot w/ long hold on bus blocking youngElliot & adultElliot is revealed on bench. I also love how Ep4's writing brings to surface the most buried of human condition using analogies w IT jargon. & Elliot's whole entire head-trip-withdrawl-montage is a lot to take but it's so well done.

Darkest Knight

BTW i believe you mentioned watching an AI show in one of these episodes. One show I know is amazing with AI as its core concept is a show called person of interest. Highly Recommended checking that out, it is available to watch on amazon. I'd Explain the premise of the show but I suck at explaining cool shit without spoiling so take my word for it. lol someone back me up

Ep 4 is amazing because its a perfect computer metaphor. It contains all the information with answers to the questions of the entire show and presents it straight up….but it’s so heavily encrypted that without the keys, you can’t decipher it.

I love this show so much; hard to believe it began production about 10 years ago. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before or since. It's highly praised for its unusual cinematography, use of music, and technical accuracy. And, omg, the NYC location is PERFECT. So moody and atmospheric. Delicious! ❤

Joined the patreon expecting you to be two weeks ahead and find out you've got the whole first season done along with both uncut and edited versions of the reaction. This is all wonderful! 🤩
