Also just so you know man, there is 13 episodes in season 6. So you still have three more!

I love episode 10. So many people were upset when it first came out because of how jarring it felt. I love itm. It's like a Season 1 episode near the end of the series.

If you look at the intros for every single season, they degrade more and more every season, similar to how a VHS degrades. Back in the first episode, he was watching his old Better Call Saul vommercials on VHS. Hopefully that lets you figure out why the intro did what it did.

Argh. The shot of the fire reflecting in Gus's glasses as he looks at Hector...

Episode 9 has to be my favorite episode and it ages like fine wine (literally). Every scene is a somber farewell to each aspect of BCS. We see Gus being legitimately happy for the first time on screen, and yet he realizes he cannot share his life with someone because of what happened with Max. Mike has to tell Manny Varga about his son who fell in with bad people but was never like them (just like Mike's son). Manny is what Mike wishes he was but knows he'll never be. Then of course Kim and Jimmy's relationship finally breaking, and we see just how badly that affects Jimmy with a perfectly placed time jump.

One of my favorite things about better call Saul is the way they reference old movies. I actually had a pretty fun time watching some of the movies that they reference. In nippy the rhyme that they use during the heist is a reference to the dirty dozen. That was a great movie to watch if you haven't seen it already

That last Kim & Jimmy Scene in Fun & Games is one of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever seen, then paired with that BRUTAL timeskip. When this aired this episode made me feel SO empty afterwards. Having to sit with that for another week until the next episode. For 6 Seasons we were all like "When's Saul gonna be here?" "I can't wait until he turns into Saul!" - Then it happens. And all you wanna do is turn back time. Masterclass in writing (and acting too).

Rockstarrzz

It was also because at the time, there were alot of rumours of Jesse & Walt returning, and then it was this episode, alot of people were disappointed. But imo it's brilliant in it's own right, despite being quite a whiplash in tone.

Kim quitting the law was the most devastating part of the show. The breakup felt like it was coming (especially if you’ve ever been in a relationship like that) but oh god Kim leaving what mattered most to her tore my heart out.

Kaitlin

This show is such a masterclass in writing for characters. There’s so much emotional depth given to all of them. I love it.

Sorry to post on an unrelated video but i would really recommend The Kitchen (2024). Really cinematic journey through a dystopian near future London. Solid acting, shot composition, atmosphere/ambience, and man the soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥 And a very potent message at the centre. It will be on Netflix on Friday

New viral video, 'Breaking Bad - But no one gives a sh*t', has been marked safe for spoilers. Great to be with James and all of you on this journey. I've only seen these episodes the once but they feel legendary.

I mean, gotta be honest, Sauls Plan seems very ill thought out. 1) Assume the run goes right and he doesn't stumble AT ALL (which the guy did, hard, but even so.. stairs, running, while carrying? Crying for a twisted ankle) 2) Assume that Jerry eats the cinnabun. Might have a stomach ache that day. Not THAT unlikely given his diet 3) Tapes. TAPES. Erased after THREE days. What if someone else steals something and they require the tapes as evidence?? 4) Greed. Just plain greed. Could've make it one run less to have some buffer, but no, straight to edge. At this point I think he wanted to be caught, subconciously. Which is why he had such a strong reaction right after the heist

Are we gonna be getting a triple feature to finish off the series (and the BB universe overall), or will you be doing the finale alone the week after? Just curious :)

I was on reddit a lot during the airing of season 6 and there was so many crazy ass theories out there. I was on the romantic camp that wanted Kim and Jimmy to be together at all costs til the end, maybe Kim with a perfectly above the board pro bono practice financed by Saul's criminal practice during BB and then reunited in the B&W timeline, driving to the sunset together. I believed that to be a possibility up until Howard's death. Once that happened I knew there was NO WAY Kim would be able to live with that. It still gutted me to watch them breakup. The first time we saw them say I love you to each other was also the last.

Where to begin... Recasting the sinister cab driver with that ineffectual dweeb was ridiculous. They should have hired Mark Pellegrino instead; he's got the same vibe. Better yet, they should have just left the cabbie subplot and moved on instead of wasting precious time with that stupid, overwrought, department store caper. Not even stunt casting Carol Burnett could make it palatable. It was insulting.

The episode in Breaking Bad that introduced Saul Goodman was titled "Better Call Saul".... The next episode in Better Call Saul is titled "Breaking Bad" Hmm, I wonder...

Michael Proch

Man you’re like consistently a grouch Linda

I love BCS, but I'm not gonna be a fluffer for a bad episode. This emperor has no clothes.

Abdullah Mughal

1. thats why he made the practice run and it was required since he onlt had like 3 minutes and need to hit a certain amount. 2. in that sense ANYTHING can happen he could have a family emergency, his wife finds out and puts a stop to it somehow, you could make up anything. 3. again you can make up any unlikely scenario. 4. greed was the whole point which is more so established in the later episodes. that like the whole point of the show..... he did wanted to be caught, he knew gene was not gonna last long, he could had stayed hidden and free but thats not jimmy. he can't control it.

Samus Prime

It was a decent episode at best, not entirely necessary though. I couldn't agree more about the casting - completely different vibe, doesn't work at all. I had to look up Mark Pellegrino - Paul from Dexter! You're right, that would have been perfect, he plays a great scumbag.

Linda

The thing is, I loved the show so much. That's why I'm so pissed. The writers painted themselves into a corner and then drove the show straight into the weeds, landing in a ditch. Their brains must've turned to mush during the pandemic. Sorry, not sorry. I'm just not the type to accept bullshit like a blind cult member might do.

Samus Prime

That's a little hyperbolic, don't you think?

Linda

No.
