Our lives are very complicated puzzles. And more often than not, there are lost pieces.

Gillie seems a bit insensitive here. Her own struggles don't erase the way Talita feels about herself

YIPPIEEE I love seeing them learn and grow as friends. Very sweet

I love how they're going from "coworkers"/"casual friends" from one of bip and talita's early conversations to "close friends" now. Also haha wait for bip to come in and ruin the moment lmao

a cat girl like gillie must appreciate puzzles.. fun toys to figure out to get the treats (aka your friend being able to socialize with you on your own terms)

I'm very glad for pointing out that being friends means you have to work and experience each others issues... it's gloomy but it does mean you can shift to working on them in ways that build confidence.

I think we now know who was doing the jigsaw puzzle we saw on the table in an earlier comic.

Ray

gillie is so fun and so cool

Gillie's got a bottomless well of optimism in her brain and that is so heartwarming.

I honestly really liked "Being friends means being each other's problems." I kind of got some similar experiences growing up and so I learned that being "inconvenient" meant being abandoned whenever I had any problems. I got very good at being useful AND not-inconvenient...which meant I was very bad at trusting my friends to accept the more "inconvenient" parts of myself. Which is really hilariously dumb because I love my friends and have never had a second thought about accommodating them. Somehow I can't believe they would want to do the same for me! And I think they're goddang amazing wonderful kind people, so that doesn't really seem in character for them! I guess being reminded that they *want* to help - that it's not just polite behavior they would do for anyone - makes it easier to just talk about it without being afraid that they'll be angry that they have to accommodate me. It's just...hard to get out of your own head (or torso, I guess, in Talita's case!)

I wish Talita could see how much this audience loves her
