I can confidently say I have no clue where this conversation is gonna go (given Mel’s recent attempts to switch things up), will they treat her like she’s their kid or more professionally as an employee…? and if so Talita probably won’t be used to that and take it the wrong way… !!

this is so silly a comment to make i think but the panel where her head is so close to the ceiling really reminds me of Follow That Bird!, the really emotional movie about sesame street's Big Bird lol. There were a lot of scenes I remember where he accidentally loomed over people and didnt fit well in spaces and i dunno they just have a very similar vibe!!

The fact that this really doesn't look like it's going to go well makes that scene at the start of the comic when Mel tells Talita she can come to them about anything involving the temps especially sad and kinda tragic in retrospect.
